The excitement continued during the afternoon session of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 – Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan–Tapaz as participants showcased their knowledge, creativity, and passion through the Quiz Bee and Poster Making with Slogan Contest.

The Quiz Bee challenged the participants' critical thinking, teamwork, and academic excellence, while the Poster Making with Slogan Contest gave young artists the opportunity to express their ideas and advocate for this year's theme, "Different Context, Same Aspirations," through meaningful artwork and inspiring messages.

These competitions served as more than just contests—they celebrated the talents, creativity, and potential of the youth of Tapaz. Every participant demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and the shared aspiration of making a positive impact in their communities.
Congratulations to all the participants, winners, coaches, judges, and organizers for making the afternoon activities a memorable success!

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan – Tapaz

Theme: "Different Context, Same Aspirations"

The Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, held today, August 7, 2026, at the Tapaz Civic Center, concluded successfully as youth leaders from across the municipality gathered to celebrate, learn, and strengthen their commitment to nation-building.

The program formally opened with the Opening Remarks of Hon. Prince Rovic F. Gardose, Ex-Officio Board Member and Provincial SK President of the Province of Capiz. Inspiring messages were also delivered by Hon. Rex Dante Palomar, in the presence of Special Assistant to the Mayor Mr. Loreto Gadong, MSWDO Josie Cambel, with Mrs. Cherry Romano, emphasizing the vital role of the youth in creating a more progressive and inclusive community. Additionally, Vice Mayor Hon. Roberto Palomar also graced the event who ignites the youth to make a change.

Following the opening program, participants actively took part in a meaningful symposium featuring 2nd Lt. Noverlie Bermejo, who shared valuable insights on leadership and community responsibility, and Dr. Ronilo Berondo, who discussed important topics concerning Indigenous Peoples, promoting awareness, respect, and inclusivity among the youth.

The event was a resounding success, reflecting the unity, passion, and dedication of the young people of Tapaz. Despite our different backgrounds and experiences, we continue to pursue the same aspirations for a better future.
Together, let us continue to empower the youth and inspire positive change.
