Last August 14, 2026, the Taslan community gathered for a memorable night of storytelling, creativity, and local filmmaking at the Taslan Covered Gym.

The Taslan Film Festival 2026 featured four remarkable films, each showcasing unique stories, messages, and creative visions brought to life on the big screen.

Among these films was “SIDLAK SANG ADLAW,” directed by Neljhan Getiayon, whose passion, creativity, and dedication helped bring the story to life.

This meaningful event was made possible through the support of Hon. Jean Buyco Farillon, SK Chairperson, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Barangay Taslan.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the SK officials, filmmakers, organizers, performers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this festival a success.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came and supported the four films!

Four films. Four stories. One unforgettable night.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 — IT’S A WRAP!
Two weeks of fun, meaningful activities, teamwork, and unforgettable memories have come to an end! From August 2–15, we celebrated the spirit, talent, and potential of the youth through our Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. 🙌

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Taslan would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this celebration a success.

To all the youth of Barangay Taslan, thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, and active participation. This celebration may be over, but our commitment to empowering and serving the youth continues.
