PTF-CAVITE SUPPORTS AIRSOFT CLUB AS BEST PRACTICE FOR RESERVISTS

On 02 September 2026, LTC NORREL C. ALOG OS (GSC) PA, Acting Commander, Provincial Task Force-Cavite, 4th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army (PTF-Cavite, 4RCDG, RCPA), convened with stakeholders, reservist leaders, and representatives from fraternal organizations.

The meeting was held at HPTF-Cavite, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite* to formally endorse the Airsoft Club as a best practice for reservists.

This initiative aims to:
1. Enhance operational capabilities through tactical simulation and demonstration;
2. Align reservists’ personal interests with meaningful readiness training; and
3. Foster camaraderie and morale among reservists while advancing the Unit’s mission and objectives.

LTC ALOG expressed full support for the activity, stating:
_"We support this Airsoft Club not just as a recreational activity, but as a practical tool to sharpen our reservists’ tactical skills, discipline, and teamwork. By aligning their hobbies with our training, we build a more capable and ready reserve force."_

PTF-CAVITE EXTENDS GRATITUDE TO PARTNERS FOR SUCCESSFUL RESCOM HEALTH-WELLNESS PROGRAM

29 August 2026 | Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite

The Provincial Task Force-Cavite (PTF-Cavite), under the leadership of LTC NORREL C ALOG OS (GSC) PA, Acting Commander, PTF-Cavite ,4th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command Philippine Army (4RCDG, RCPA), expressed sincere appreciation to all partners for the successful conduct of the *Headquarters Reserve Command, Philippine Army Health and Wellness Program held at the Camp Riego de Dios Covered Court.

PTF-Cavite extended profound thanks to Pastor Jun Curry Pague, and to every contributing group whose generous support made the whole-of-community initiative possible.

— Service runs deep not only in uniform, but through heart-driven giving.

SSg LORENZO B. DE LEON PA (RES), Battalion S1 NCO for Moral and Welfare Section, 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, consistently goes above and beyond duty. Time and again, he personally sponsors and provides essential medicines for every community medical mission the unit conducts.

Outside his reservist appointment, SSg De Leon brings professional and academic excellence. He serves as B2B Philippines Head at Suhitas Pharmaceuticals Inc., and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselling. He also answers a spiritual calling as Reverend Pastor with the CCOC Training and Development Team, guiding growth, resilience, and well-being.

_"Whether in counseling rooms, church pulpits, or front-line health drives 1— caring for people is one mission,"_ SSg De Leon said.

Through his leadership and corporate network, he secures and donates tablets, syrups, vitamins, first-aid supplies, and preventive care packs — ensuring treatment is ready and free for every family.

His example shows Reservism at its finest: blending official duty, professional expertise, business resources, and pastoral compassion. For him, "Moral & Welfare" is more than a job title — it is medicine in hand, relief for the sick, and hope restored.

Topacio, Brgy. Poblacion I-C, Lungsod ng Imus, Cavite.

Kasama ni MAJ BENSON ang mga Laang-Kawal mula sa 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion upang magbigay-pugay sa buhay, kabayanihan, at pagmamahal sa bayan ni Heneral Licerio C. Topacio — isang tanyag na pinuno ng himagsikan at isa sa mga pinararangalang anak ng Cavite.

Dinaluhan din ng nasabing gawain ang mga opisyal ng pamahalaang panlalawigan at panlungsod, mga tauhan ng Sandatahang Lakas, mga kamag-anak, at mga mamamayan ng Imus upang parangalan ang sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni MAJ BENSON ang mahalagang ugnayan ng Sandatahang Lakas, mga Laang-Kawal, at ng komunidad sa pagtataguyod ng katapangan, katapatan, at paglilingkod — mga prinsipyong kinatawan ni Hen. Topacio.

Nagtapos ang gawain sa pag-aalay ng bulaklak at panibagong panata na panatilihing buhay ang alaala ng ating mga bayani at itaguyod ang kalayaang kanilang ipinaglaban.

402nd RRIBn WELCOMES NEW BCMT GRADUATES; LTC ALOG PRESIDES OVER TURNOVER

The 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (402nd RRIBn) formally welcomed its newly graduated *Basic Citizen Military Trainees* during a Turnover Ceremony on *23 August 2026 at the Covered Court, HPTF-Cavite, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite.

LTC NORREL C. ALOG (OS) (GSC) PA, Acting Commander, PTF-Cavite, 4RCDG, RCPA, served as Keynote Speaker. In his address, he congratulated the new citizen-soldiers and reminded them that their BCMT graduation was only the foundation of their service.

“Your journey as reservists begins now. The 402nd RRIBn will continue to guide and train you to become competent and dedicated citizen-soldiers ready to serve the community and the nation,” LTC Alog stated.

He also directed the unit’s officers and senior personnel to mentor the new reservists and uphold the values of discipline and service.

Attended by officers, NCOs, PTF-Cavite and personnel of 402nd RRIBn, the ceremony marked the official integration of the new graduates into the battalion — further strengthening the Reserve Force in Cavite.

402nd RRIBn LAUNCHES SPORTSFEST 2026 TO BOOST CAMARADERIE AND READINESS

TANZA, CAVITE – The 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion formally launched Sportsfest 2026 on 23 August 2026 at the Covered Court, HPTF-Cavite, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite.

LTC NORREL C ALOG (OS) (GSC) PA, Acting Provincial Director, PTF-Cavite, 4RCDG, RCPA, served as Keynote Speaker. In his message, he emphasized that sports builds camaraderie, discipline, and physical fitness — qualities essential for every reservist.

Attended by officers, NCOs, and reservists of 402nd RRIBn, the week-long activity aims to strengthen teamwork, morale, and esprit de corps. Personnel wore PHILARPAT Uniform while athletes were in their team jerseys.

The opening ceremony concluded with the declaration of the Sportsfest, officially starting the games.

A graduate with distinction of the Scout Ranger Course, Sergeant Major Course, Military Intelligence / Civil-Military Operations Course, Instructor Development Training, and Instructor Development Training Course, MSG Pelayo brings unparalleled tactical depth and leadership experience.

He currently serves as Sergeant Major of the 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (402nd RRIBn). His inclusion in the Reservists-Veterans Advisory and CMO Cadre Program underscores the value of veterans’ continued contribution: guiding, mentoring, and strengthening civil-military operations through seasoned counsel and proven competence.

Beyond his military credentials, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and is completing a Master of Public Administration, reflecting a lifelong commitment to learning and public service.
