April 6, 2026 | Strengthening Our Fight for a Drug-Free Tangub
A productive and meaningful meeting was conducted today in line with the intensified Anti-Drug Campaign of Tangub City, in strong collaboration with our partners from the Philippine National Police (PNP), headed by PLTCOL. James M. Daleon, CADAC Vice-Chairman, together with the Tangub City Anti-Drug Abuse Office (TACADAO) & CADAC Focal Person led by Mr. John Kevin A. Bugas, Department Head.
This meeting highlights our shared commitment to sustain and strengthen our strategies in ensuring a Drug-Free Tangub City, anchored on collaboration, accountability, and community participation.
Key Agenda Discussed:
✅ Retention of Drug-Cleared Status of 55 Barangays
– Strengthening monitoring systems
– Continuous validation and compliance with national standards
✅ Targets and Strategic Directions for 2026
– 100% functionality of all BADACs
– Strengthened implementation of Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP)
– Sustained drug-free workplace initiatives
✅ Planned Activities and Interventions:
– Intensified Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns
– Regular Random Drug Testing for LGU employees and partner institutions
– Strengthening of Balay Silangan Reformation Programs
– Youth-focused awareness programs in schools and communities
– Strengthened coordination with PDEA, DILG, and other stakeholders
✅ Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Mechanisms
– Timely submission of reports
– Data-driven strategies for better outcomes
– Continuous audit readiness for ADAC performance
This collaboration between LGU TANGUB headed by the City Mayor & CADAC Chairman, Mayor Sabiniano S. Canama, TACADAO, PNP, and partner agencies proves that “One Government, One Goal: A Drug-Free Tangub 2026” is not just a vision, but a mission we actively pursue together.
