The Local Government Unit of Tangalan proudly recognized individuals who have made life-saving contributions through the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP), honoring their unwavering commitment to voluntary blood donation and humanitarian service.

Among the awardees were the staff of the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan and Hon. Henry B. The Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation, Ways & Means convened to deliberate on a supplemental budget measure of the Barangay Council of Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan, aimed at supporting the improvement of essential barangay infrastructure.

• Barangay Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2026 of the Barangay Council of Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan – An Ordinance Authorizing Supplemental Budget No. 01, Series of 2026, involving the amount of Seventy-Eight Thousand Six Hundred Nineteen Pesos and 90/100 (₱78,619.90) for the construction of a perimeter fence at the Barangay Day Care Center of Barangay Jawili.

The committee carefully reviewed the proposed supplemental budget to ensure that the appropriation complies with applicable budgeting policies and supports the improvement of public facilities. The proposed project is expected to enhance the safety and security of the Day Care Center, providing a safer environment for children, parents, and personnel while reinforcing the barangay's commitment to quality early childhood care and development.
