Congratulations to Brgy. Tamalagonโs Menโs Volleyball Team for clinching the Bronze Medal at the Municipality of Tangalanโs Inter-Barangay League 2026, held at Brgy. Poblacion Tangalan on May 23, 2026.
During the league, Team Tamalagon finished the elimination round undefeated as they moved to the quarterfinals with a clean 5-0 record. As they became Rank 1 in the elimination round, the team had a twice-to-beat advantage against Brgy. Baybay, with a 1-1 standing, wich made them qualifiers for the semifnals.
During the battle for the championship in the semifinals, they lost against Brgy. Afga with a 2-1 set score, which led them to compete against Brgy. Poblacion. Team Tamalagon then secured a 2-1 set victory, making their historic first podium finish and placing Brgy. Tamalagon in the third spot.
Jersey number 3, Vincent Traje, was hailed as the Player of the Game. Team Captain Tyron Geov Bernados says that he is beyond proud of their remarkable achievement as they managed to hustle, compete, and win against multiple teams after being unplaced last year.
