07.25.2026 The Local Government Unit of Tangalan successfully distributed the salaries of our Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries, recognizing their dedication and valuable service during their employment.
Through the SPES program, students were given the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience while earning financial assistance to support their educational needs. The beneficiaries' salaries were made possible through the partnership of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the LGU Tangalan, with 50% of the salary funded by the Local Government Unit and 50% funded by DOLE.
Special thanks to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Gene T. Fuentes, for his steadfast commitment to investing in the youth by allocating local funds to support this program. His continued support reflects the municipality's dedication to empowering students and helping them pursue their education.

Smiles and gratitude filled the day as our 1st batch of SPES beneficiaries received their hard-earned salaries, fully funded through the Local Government Unit of Tangalan's budget.

Through this initiative, our beneficiaries were able to develop workplace skills while receiving financial assistance for their educational needs.

Mayor Gene T. Fuentes congratulated the beneficiaries for successfully completing their employment period and encouraged them to continue studying hard, pursue their goals and make their education their priority. He emphasized that the support provided by the LGU is an investment in the future of Tangalan's youth and a testament to the municipality's commitment to their growth and success.
