Personnel of the Tandag Component City Police Station, under the supervision of PLTCOL JUNYD D MAROHOM, Officer-In-Charge, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-off Program held today at Hitaob Elementary School, Brgy. Awasian, Tandag City.
Led by the Tandag City Division of the Department of Education (DepEd), the activity brought together various stakeholders and partners in support of the school's preparation for the opening of classes. TCCPS donated cleaning materials such as brooms, dustpans, soaps, and other supplies, and actively assisted in cleaning the school premises and painting school facilities.
Hitaob Elementary School primarily serves learners from the Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities, particularly the Mamanwa and Manobo tribes. The activity highlighted the collective effort of government agencies, local leaders, and community partners in ensuring that these learners have access to a safe, clean, and conducive environment for education.
Also present during the activity was Mayor Roxanne C. Pimentel, who, together with other stakeholders, extended donations and support, reflecting the communityโs shared commitment to providing quality education and promoting the welfare of all learners, especially those from Indigenous Peoples communities.
