CONVENING OF THE LOCAL ZONING REVIEW COMMITTEE (LZRC)
The City Government of Tandag, through the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator, successfully conducted its CY 2026 1st Local Zoning Review Committee (LZRC) Meeting on August 25, 2026, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, Legislative Building, Awasian, Tandag City.
The meeting was attended by the members of the LZRC and their authorized representatives, together with the parties who submitted requests for the rezoning and reclassification of their properties. The purpose of the meeting was to present, assess, and evaluate the requests in accordance with the City’s existing land use plans, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws and policies.
Among the participants were Hon. Alvin C. Ty, Jr., Member of the Committee on Housing and Land Utilization; Engr. Eulogio D. Milla, General Manager of the Tandag City Water District; Mr. Victor James E. Laput, Property Owner; Ms. Irene Llamas, Authorized Representative of Pepperidge Corporation; and Dr. Santos H. Yu, Jr., Property Owner.
The meeting was also joined virtually by Engr. John Cris Malupa of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), who served as the resource person and provided technical guidance on the process and requirements for rezoning and reclassification.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Committee and the requesting parties to discuss the requests, clarify the necessary requirements and procedures, and ensure that each application is properly evaluated in accordance with the City’s land use and zoning regulations.
