Today, the City Health Office, through Ms. Rea Antonette B. Dapar, Public Health Nurse, successfully conducted a seminar entitled “Respect Starts With Me: Understanding Changes, Responsible Choices, and Consequences Toward Sexual Awareness.” The session aimed to educate the residents of CSWDO Bahay Pag-asa by promoting self-respect, responsible decision-making, and awareness of the physical, emotional, and social aspects of sexual health.
Alongside the seminar, a dental outreach service was provided by Dr. Glenda Pasilong and her team, where residents received free dental consultations, tooth extractions, and oral health check-ups. The activity also included the distribution of essential medicines and dental hygiene kits to support the residents’ overall health and well-being.
This initiative highlights the continued commitment of the City Health Office to promote health education, preventive care, and accessible medical services for the youth. The residents were not only given the opportunity to learn about responsible choices but were also provided with practical healthcare services that contribute to their physical and personal development.
