Requests for non-food items such as kitchen kits, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits have likewise been submitted to the DSWD CARAGA Regional Office.
I sincerely thank the DSWD SDS Provincial Office, Regional Director Mari-flor Dollaga, and DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian for their prompt and responsive support.
To our fellow Surigaonons: despite misinformation circulating online, your provincial government is fully engaged and actively responding. The damage caused by Tropical Storm Basyang is unprecedented, but we continue to move, to respond, and to reach every affected family.
We rise in the face of adversity, and we help one another without hesitation. This is who we are as Surigaonons: resilient, united, and compassionate.
We will continue to move, to respond, and to reach every affected family until recovery is complete. Padayon kita. ๐
