Threading a successful career in public education; HRD Conducts Induction Program for Beginning Teachers ( IPBT)
In order to inculcate the value of integrity, professionalism and quality public service to beginning teachers, SDO Tanauan City through the Human Resource Development Section (HRDS) conducted orientation on the Induction Program for Beginning Teachers (IPBT) for Zero to Three years in service last September 15, 2023 at Tanauan South Central School, Tanauan City.
ENTRANCE TO QUALITY PUBLIC SERVICE
In connection to DepEd Order No. 43, s. 2017 entilted Teacher Induction Program the 105 Zero to Three years in service teachers were called to participate the program. This was done for them to acquire necessary competencies to deliver quality public service. The said event was also aligned with Civil Service Memorandum Circular No. 24, s. 2016 also known as the PRIME-HRM. The said activity is the beginning of the course specifically designed to new entrants in the public school system.
In addition, the TIP framework comprises three components: The ‘Curriculum’ inducts teachers into DepEd, builds their KSAVs, and supports career advancement. The ‘Delivery’ provides teachers with a multi-modal delivery platform that supports the curriculum. The ‘Ecosystem’ enables harmonized and dynamic cooperation within linkages and resources.
COMPREHENSIVE YET LIBERATING INFO SHARING
The said program comprised of information sharing from various educational leaders and experts in different fields. Some of the topics that were discussed are Administrative matters by Mr. Jhun-Jhun D. Lucero-Administrative Officer V, Human Resource Matters by Ms. Nenette C. Sumague-Administrative Officer IV-HRMO, Ethical Standards for Teachers by Atty. Roxanne Laqui and Child Protection and Learning and Development by Mr. Edgar Marshall Brinas- SEPS for Human Resource Development.
Moreover, various concerns were directly addressed by the different experts and they arrived with conceptual answers to the points raised by the participants.
OVERWHELMING SUPPORT and ENCOURAGEMENT
SDO Tanauan City’s top management showed their support during the conduct of the said activity. Inspirational messages centered on commitment and passion for the profession were highligted by all the messages given by Dr. Lourdes T. Bermudez, CESO IV- Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rhina O. Ilagan-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and Dr. Maximo L. Custodio Jr.-SGOD Chief.
