DAGHAN ANG NALUWAS TUNGOD SA FLAG CEREMONY

As the magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck parts of Mindanao on the morning of June 8, 2026, the first day of classes, many students, teachers, and parents were left shaken and in tears as schools sustained damage and communities faced uncertainty.

Yet amid the devastation, many are grateful that the earthquake occurred during the flag ceremony, when thousands of students and teachers were gathered in open spaces rather than inside classrooms. This circumstance may have helped prevent more injuries and potentially saved countless lives.

Today, as we witness the aftermath of the disaster, we are reminded of the importance of preparedness, vigilance, and resilience. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected by the earthquake.

Stay safe, everyone. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡
