PLATINUM PERFORMANCE: A MILESTONE WE ACHIEVED TOGETHER

Today, we celebrate a historic milestone for Cebu South Medical Center.

CSMC has officially been conferred the Department of Health Platinum Award, achieving a 98.75% iHOMP Rating and a 4-Star Green and Safe Healthcare Facilities Rating for CY 2025 Assessment Cycle.

While these scores are outstanding, the real achievement is the collective effort behind them. This recognition belongs entirely to the CSMC family, our doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, administrative and support teams, utility workers, security personnel, and everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes.

This milestone is the direct result of your hard work, daily sacrifices, and an authentic commitment to providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to the communities we serve. Together, we are proving that public healthcare can truly lead the way in excellence, sustainability, and service.

Big news from Talisay! Today, May 28, 2026, Cebu South Medical Center officially achieved a 96.60% rating, a perfect 5-STAR score, in the Green Viability Assessment and Validation conducted by the DOH Central Visayas Center for Health Development.

This is the highest level of recognition for a Green and Safe Health Facility, and we couldn’t be prouder.

The regional validators highlighted several key areas where our facility is setting the standard for public hospitals:
