All Systems Go for Talisay City PNP: Ensures Full Preparedness for Ligtas Undas 2025

PLTCOL MAILA CAUSIN MARAMAG, Chief of Police, City of Talisay Police Station (CTPS) held a Pre-Deployment Briefing on October 29, 2025 to all personnel and force multipliers to be deployed during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day Celebration 2025. The deployment covers all private and public cemeteries within the City of Talisay to ensure a safe, orderly, and peaceful celebration.

The activity aimed to ensure that all personnel are properly briefed on their specific assignments, deployment areas, and operational responsibilities. PLTCOL MARAMAG emphasized the importance of maintaining maximum police visibility, efficient traffic management and control, and the need for a swift and coordinated response to any untoward incidents that may occur. She iterated that everyone must stay alert and vigilant, observe discipline, and extend utmost courtesy while rendering duty throughout the observance of UNDAS 2025.

“The CTPS is fully prepared to ensure the safety and security of the public while visiting private and public cemeteries to remember and offer prayers for their departed love ones. I urge everyone to collaborate and cooperate with our deployed personnel to ensure peaceful and solemn observance of this occasion.” PLTCOL MARAMAG said.

In a continued effort to capacitate local leaders, Ms. Rojhelou J. Patac of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Talisay City served as the resource speaker during a Refresher Training on the Katarungang Pambarangay Law and the Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) held in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City, Cebu.

The activity was attended by barangay officials and Lupon Tagapamayapa members. Ms. Patac provided an in-depth review of the Katarungang Pambarangay Law, highlighting its vital role in promoting peace and order at the grassroots level through amicable settlement of conflicts. She also introduced the Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) — a recognition program that aims to acknowledge outstanding performance of Lupon members in delivering effective and efficient dispute resolution.

The Department of Labor and Employment – Region 7 (DOLE 7) conducted an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awareness and Accident Prevention Orientation for DILG and barangay officials, entitled:
"Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training Course for Safety Officer 1 (SO1)" on October 2–3, 2025.

The activity was participated in by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and selected barangays from the City of Talisay, Cebu.

This orientation aimed to equip local officials with essential knowledge on occupational safety and health standards, and to strengthen their capability in helping ensure a safe environment within their barangays.

City of Talisay, Cebu – The City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) of the City of Talisay, Ms. Rojhelou J. Patac, together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Talisay Field Office staff, participated in the flag ceremony and official opening of the 125th Civil Service Month celebration held at the Talisay City Hall grounds on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The event marked the beginning of a month-long celebration honoring the dedication and commitment of government workers across the country. This year’s theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” highlights the importance of integrity, accountability, and excellence in public service.
