🚦National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims

The Land Transportation Office (LTO), led by Asec. Markus V. Lacanilao, joined the nationwide observance of the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors, and their Families at the LTO Central Office.

The event featured a Solidarity Walk from QC Memorial Circle, a Holy Mass and candle-lighting ceremony in honor of victims, and a Blood Letting Program to promote compassion and community support.

Representatives from government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and road safety advocates came together to call for safer roads and responsible road use—aligned with the DOTr’s commitment under the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

🚨 LTO Extends Validity of Registration & Driver’s License 🚨

In light of recent typhoons (Nando, Opong, Paulo) and the earthquake in Cebu, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced an extension of validity for all vehicle registrations and driver’s licenses that expired on September 30 — now valid until October 15, 2025, with no penalties.

📝 The directive, issued by LTO Chief Asec. Vigor D. Mendoza II under the guidance of DOTr Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez and in line with President Bongbong Marcos’ call for assistance, also covers an extension for the settlement of traffic apprehension cases until October 15.

🙏 This move aims to help our kababayans affected by the recent calamities and government work suspensions due to heavy rains and disasters.
