The Municipality of Talakag, through the Municipal Tourism Office, successfully convened the Meeting of the Municipal Tourism Council on 20 May 2026 at the Municipal AVR, Municipal Hall, Brgy. 2, presided by Mx. Bricks S. Sintaon, Municipal Tourism Officer.

The meeting gathered Council members and stakeholders to review ongoing tourism initiatives, address current concerns and opportunities, and align tourism programs with the municipality’s development goals.

Present during the activity were Hon. Renato “Renz” S. Sulatan, Municipal Mayor and Honorary Chairperson; Hon. Councilor Rey Anthony S. Sulatan, Committee on Tourism Chairperson; Ms. Ma. Theresa S. Sulatan, Tourism Council Chairperson; Hon. Councilor Marilyn S. Tinoy; municipal department heads; and other members of the Municipal Tourism Council.

The activity reaffirmed the commitment of the LGU of Talakag and its partners to promote sustainable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive tourism that preserves the municipality’s heritage, culture, and natural beauty while supporting responsible community development.

Together, we continue to build a tourism industry that empowers communities, preserves culture, and promotes responsible development for future generations.
