KALILANGAN, BUKIDNON โ€” Police units intercepted a white Bajaj threeโ€‘wheeled trike (baoโ€‘bao) carrying undocumented ci******es valued at โ‚ฑ21,600 during a checkpoint operation in Barangay Malinao, Kalilangan, Bukidnon at about 4:45 PM on January 10, 2026.

PBGEN CHRISTOPHER N ABRAHANO, Regional Director of PRO 10, lauded the personnel of the 1004th Maneuver Company, RMFB 10, for their vigilance and commitment, emphasizing that their efforts strengthen the campaign against smuggling and illegal trade in Northern Mindanao.

The checkpoint was manned by the 1004th Maneuver Company with support from the the Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station.

The trike, driven by Jude (real name withheld), 36, of Don Carlos, Bukidnon, was found loaded with twenty seven reams of assorted ci******es, all lacking government health warning labels.

The driver failed to present legal documents for the cargo, resulting in his arrest and the confiscation of the trike and ci******es. Inventory and marking of the seized items were conducted onโ€‘site, witnessed by a Barangay Kagawad and the apprehended suspect.

The suspect was later brought to Kalilangan MPS for processing, while the seized trike and ci******es will be turned over to the Bureau of Customs in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

This accomplishment highlights the intensified operations of PRO 10 against smuggling, carried out under the leadership of PBGEN CHRISTOPHER N ABRAHANO, Regional Director, and in line with the directives of PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, Acting Chief PNP, who has emphasized strict enforcement and accountability in police operations nationwide.

SAN FERNANDO, BUKIDNON โ€” Police authorities confiscated undocumented ci******es valued at โ‚ฑ720,000 during a checkpoint operation in Barangay Kalagangan, San Fernando, Bukidnon at around 11:10 AM on January 11, 2026.

PBGEN CHRISTOPHER N ABRAHANO, Regional Director of PRO 10, commended the operating units for their vigilance, emphasizing that the successful interception reflects the policeโ€™s continuing campaign against smuggling and illegal trade in Northern Mindanao.

The operation was carried out by personnel of the 1003rd Maneuver Company, RMFB 10, in coordination with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit and San Fernando Municipal Police Station.

A white Toyota Hi-Ace Commuter Van driven by a 37โ€‘yearโ€‘old resident of Asuncion, Davao del Norte was flagged down. During inspection, authorities discovered eighteen (18) master cases of ci******es without government health warning labels.

The driver failed to present legal documents for the cargo, leading to his arrest and the confiscation of the van and ci******es. The inventory was conducted on-site, witnessed by a Barangay Kagawad and the apprehended driver.

The suspect was apprised of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine and was later brought to San Fernando MPS for processing, while the seized van and ci******es will be turned over to the Bureau of Customs in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

This accomplishment forms part of the broader anti-smuggling drive of the Philippine National Police under the directives of PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, Acting Chief PNP, who has underscored strict enforcement and accountability in police operations nationwide.

ILIGAN CITY - In a continuing effort to neutralize threats and maintain public safety, regional security forces recorded another accomplishment in the recovery of improvised explosive device (IED) components during internal security operations in Sitio Salingsing, Barangay Rogongon at around 11:40 AM on Saturday, July 12.

Personnel from the 1004th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB 10) executed the operation as the lead unit, supported by elements of the 1002nd, 1003rd, and 1001st Maneuver Companies, the Iligan City Mobile Force Company, and the Regional Explosive and Canine Unit 10 (RECU 10).

The IED recovery was made possible through intelligence provided by a former rebel affiliated with SRC-5 NCMRC, further strengthening the impact of inter-agency cooperation and community involvement in counter-insurgency efforts.

The recovered components will be transported to RECU 10 Headquarters at Camp General Nicolas Capistrano in Barangay Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City for proper disposition and forensic examination.

This marks another successful operation by RMFB 10 in its campaign to rid Northern Mindanao of explosive threats and reinforce its commitment to sustaining peace and security in vulnerable communities.
