WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR ♥️💛💚🧡

In support of the campaign ending child labor, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI actively participates in the 2025 World Day Against Child Labor with the theme, “𝑺𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔: 𝑴𝒂𝒈-𝒂𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒂, 𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒘𝒂!”

HAPPENING NOW: SLP Orientation conducted during the Provincial Rollout Training on Strengthened Intervention and Resource Mobilization for 4Ps Case Managers

In line with the aim of strengthening convergence at the community level, this orientation fosters collaboration between Field SLP Staffs and 4Ps Case Managers to ensure holistic development and timely support to the program. This activity was held at AVR 5, New City Hall, Tagum City, Davao del Norte and was attended by the Case Managers from the different cities and municipalities across the province.

The orientation was headed by the Provincial Coordinator (PC), Ms. Novalinn Perl Paraguya and was facilitated by the Capacity Building Project Development Officer/ Provincial Partnership Officer (CPDO/PPO), Ms. Janice Barrientos and the Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (PMEO), Ms. Germarie Toledo. The discussion focuses on the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) role of convergence for sustainable livelihood development.

This initiative of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Provincial Operations Office, headed by Provincial Link Ms. Shiela Magalona-Dalipe, RSW and SWAD Team Leader Mr. Ricky Tijon, RSW, truly paves the way toward strengthened inter-agency convergence, enhanced service delivery, and a more holistic approach to supporting the development and well-being of 4Ps beneficiaries. Convergence with 4Ps is not just about combining services—it's about creating a coordinated support system that recognizes the multifaceted needs of beneficiaries and the community in general.
