The University Student Government - Commission on Elections (COMELEC) hereby releases the official results regarding the conduct of the Campus Internal Nomination Elections across all university units:

[𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧]

The USeP Tagum Student Council – Commission on Elections (USeP TSC – ComElec) is hereby releases the 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘀 reflecting the results of the USeP 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 conducted on August 15, 2026, for the 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗲𝗣 𝗧𝗠𝗖, 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗺 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 in preparation for the 𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗨𝗦𝗚 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

The conduct of the internal nomination was pursuant to the duly approved 𝗘𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟱, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, following the Commission's declaration of the Failure of Regular Elections due to the insufficient number of qualified candidates.

The internal process was conducted to provide an avenue for the nomination and addition of qualified candidates to the existing slate, subject to the qualifications and requirements prescribed by the Commission.

The election recorded 74 voters out of 86 recognized internal official voters, resulting in an 86.05% voter turnout.

The attached Certificate of Canvass contains the official record of the votes received and canvassed by the Commission for the designated vacant USG Executive positions.

The University Student Government - Commission on Elections (USG–ComElec), through 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟱, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, hereby promulgates the guidelines governing the conduct of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the University Student Government Executive Department for 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

Following the official filing period, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 (𝟮) 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 filed for office, which did not meet the 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 (𝟯) 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 with qualified candidates for the conduct of regular elections. Consequently, a 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 was declared.

In accordance with the governing election provisions, the Commission shall proceed with an 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to fill the vacant USG Executive Department positions. Nominations shall be open to 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗲𝗣 𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻 possessing general student governance qualifications, subject to screening and approval by the USG–ComElec.

All concerned are hereby enjoined to take note of the provisions and schedule set forth in this Resolution.

Take a glimpse 👀 into the moments that marked the 𝗨𝗦𝗲𝗣 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The ceremony officially welcomed the newly elected officers of the Tagum Student Council and Local Councils as they took their Oath of Office, signifying the beginning of their commitment to serve the USePian community. The oath was administered by USeP TMC Chancellor 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐒. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚, who also delivered an inspiring message encouraging the student leaders to lead with integrity, accountability, and genuine service.

The ceremony was also graced by the presence of USeP President 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐆. 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐫., who delivered the Welcome Message during the LUPAD 2026 Day 2 Program and witnessed this important milestone in student leadership. Also present were OSAS Tagum Unit 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐁. 𝐋𝐮𝐢, OSAS Coordinator, advisers of the USeP Tagum Student Council and the USeP TSC-ComElec, as well as faculty members and staff, whose presence reflected the University's continued support for student governance.

As these student leaders begin a new chapter of service, may they carry the trust of the USePian community with humility, purpose, and dedication.
