In line with the continuing efforts of Hon. Kuya Gov. Edwin I. Jubahib, Governor and PADAC Chairman, to further strengthen anti-drug initiatives across the province, the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) successfully convened its 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting on July 14, 2026 at the VIP Clubhouse, Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex, Mankilam, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, bringing together key stakeholders to sustain collaboration and advance strategic programs. By authority of the Hon. Governor, the meeting was presided over by Atty. Ralph P. Dela Cruz, Lt. Col., PA (Ret.), Provincial Administrator and PADAC Task Force Action Officer, together with PLTCOL Jun A. Bautista, Chief of the Police Community Affairs and Development Unit, DNPPO, and Ms. Rosalinda O. Rapista, RSW, Head of the PSWDO and PADAC Secretariat.
Key reports were presented from various task forces and committees, including the Taskforce on Security & Enforcement Services, Taskforce on Justice/Legal Services, and Taskforce on Reformation & Rehabilitation Services. Updates from the City/Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (C/MADACs) covering the three cities and eight municipalities, as well as reports from the DILG, Drug-Free Workplace Committee, partner agencies, and education services sector were also highlighted, along with updates from the PADAC Secretariat.
Among the key developments presented was the approval of Resolution No. 03, s. 2026, officially adopting and authorizing the use of the K9 Narcotics Detection Dog (NDD) Project logos as the official logos of the K9 NDD Project of Davao del Norte. The meeting concluded with a unified commitment among stakeholders to further intensify coordination and uphold a proactive, whole-of-government approach toward achieving a safer, drug-cleared Davao del Norte.
