The Davao del Norte Learning Institute (DNLI) convened its 1st Provincial Advisory Board (PAB) Meeting for Calendar Year 2026 today, July 14, at the PGO Conference Hall, bringing together board members and key stakeholders to discuss the institute's current initiatives and future directions.
Representing Governor Edwin I. Jubahib, PAB Chairperson, Atty. Ralph P. Dela Cruz emphasized that the meeting primarily aimed to review and assess the institute's programs, ensure that its academic offerings remain relevant to the needs of learners, and identify strategies to sustain student enrollment and scholar retention.
During the meeting, the board discussed the accomplishments and projected activities of both the Davao del Norte Learning Institute (DNLI) and Davao del Norte State College (DNSC). Members also received updates on the ongoing enrollment for the current semester, the proposed offering of the Master in Public Affairs (MPAf) program, which is currently awaiting the issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), scholarship billing concerns, and the possibility of opening additional class sections should the number of applicants continue to increase.
The board likewise tackled the implementation of DNLI-led Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs and preparations for the institute's 7th Commencement Exercises scheduled on August 27, 2026.
Through continuous collaboration among the Provincial Government, DNLI, and DNSC, the Provincial Advisory Board reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the institute's academic programs and ensuring accessible, responsive, and quality higher education for Dabaonon Public Servants.
