WORLD TEACHERS’ MONTH 2026 |
THE LAUNCHING
“I already saw your Teachers’ Month celebration trending on Region XI and on your FB Page, and now—what a small world! Finally, I will experience it.”
— Sir Ave A. Ramos, School Head
The Launching of the World Teachers’ Month Celebration at Datu Balong National High School was indeed different every year—and this year, it became even more meaningful as the celebration was anchored on the concept “AGENT OF CHANGE,” guided by the theme:
🖤 “Teacher, Ikaw Naman!” 🖤
The teachers came dressed in BLACK, symbolizing the strength, courage, authority, and resilience of educators. Black represents the teachers who continue to stand strong amid challenges—quietly carrying responsibilities, guiding learners, and becoming a source of inspiration and positive change. It reminds us that behind every successful learner is a teacher who remains steadfast even when the path becomes difficult.
And then… THE CROWD WAS READY FOR THE PASABOG! 🔥
The SSLG Officers, headed by Megan Tampipi, SSLG President, together with their adviser Sir Gryndell June L. Binasbas, brought an exciting surprise that had everyone talking:
🎰 DEAL OR NO DEAL! 🎰
Our teacher “agents” were presented with mysterious BLACK BOXES, each holding a surprise. But there was one special box containing the word “CONGRATULATIONS!”—the signal that the lucky agent would proceed to the next round and get a chance to win exciting prizes!
🎁 Choocheekoo Food & Drinks
💵 ₱300 Cash Prize
🏆 GRAND PRIZE WORTH ₱3,500!
Special Thanks also to Hon. Vice Mayor Dagdag Cafe-Binasbas for the Champorado and Tokens for the teachers , All LEAGUE OF THE PRESIDENTS and CHOOCHEKOO!
After the suspense, excitement, and a few moments of nervous anticipation, Sir Roberto Cuales, one of our Senior High School teachers, successfully proceeded to the next round and won Choocheekoo food and drinks! 🎉👏
But the real beauty of the game was that everyone was a winner. ❤️
Whether they won or lost, every teacher discovered that inside each black box was a special token/gift—something useful and meaningful that they could bring into their teaching journey.
And as the launching came to a meaningful close, the program ended with a PRAYER FOR THE TEACHERS—a heartfelt prayer for strength, wisdom, good health, and continued inspiration as they fulfill their noble mission of transforming lives.
🖤 To our teachers: You are more than educators. You are AGENTS OF CHANGE.
✨ Teacher, Ikaw Naman! ✨
