A quick response operation was conducted today, August 29, 2026, following a rain induced landslide and residential wall collapse on Dahlia St., Pembo, Taguig City.
Response Timeline:
02:16 PM – Received a radio report from Zone Leader 9 regarding a collapsed residential wall on Dahlia St.
02:18 PM – Pembo DRRM-FIRE & Rescue Team, together with Kagawad Dexter Salazar Miranda, arrived on site and immediately initiated the safe evacuation of an affected family of 11 individuals.
02:54 PM – Taguig CDRRMO and CSWD arrived on scene to conduct preliminary hazard and welfare assessments.
03:26 PM – The City Search and Rescue (SAR) team, led by Sir Gerry Ocol, arrived for a detailed structural and safety evaluation.
Incident responders coordinated directly with the head of the household, Mrs. Concepcion, who agreed to temporarily relocate her family to a nearby relative's home for safety.
Responders also conferred with Mrs. Mae, the owner of the adjacent under construction property, who kindly agreed to assist the affected family.
03:56 PM – Operations successfully concluded and teams pulled out from the site.
04:00 PM – All units safely returned to base.
