Last June, we started exploring the fundamentals of Physics through π“π‘πž πŸ•π„π¬ 𝐒𝐧 π“πžπšπœπ‘π’π§π  𝐏𝐑𝐲𝐬𝐒𝐜𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 π†π«πšππž πŸ•. This week, STEM Teach returns to the beautiful islands of Tawi-Tawi to continue the journey with π“π‘πž πŸ•π„π¬ 𝐒𝐧 π“πžπšπœπ‘π’π§π  𝐏𝐑𝐲𝐬𝐒𝐜𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 π†π«πšππž 𝟏𝟎.

βš›οΈπŸŒŠ 𝐁𝐫𝐒𝐧𝐠𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐑𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐨!

For five enriching days, more than 60 non-Physics major Science educators from island schools under the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), together with educators from the integrated laboratory school and community high schools of Mindanao State University – Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO), came together for The 7Es in Teaching Physics for Grade 7 in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

Through collaborative group activities, interactive simulations, and improvised experiments that uses easily accessible materials, participants strengthened their content knowledge while exploring practical strategies that make Physics concepts more engaging, accessible, and relevant to learners. πŸš€πŸ”¬

Every force tells a story! βš–οΈβž‘οΈ

Today, our dedicated teachers from Tawi-Tawi explored the concepts of balanced and unbalanced forces in Physics 7. Through interactive activities, meaningful discussions, and shared insights, participants examined how forces influence motion and discovered engaging approaches to help students connect these ideas to everyday experiences.

Empowering teachers with strong content knowledge and effective teaching strategies brings us one step closer to inspiring the next generation of STEM learners.
