Agarang rumesponde ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Taguig upang magsagawa ng safety control assessment at clearing operations sa 3L Emilio Aguinaldo St., Barangay West Rembo, ngayong Huwebes, Agosto 20, matapos bumagsak ang dingding ng isang residential house, na naging sanhi ng pagkalat ng iba’t ibang debris sa daanan ng publiko.

Sa pagtutulungan ng City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), Taguig City Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay Affairs Office (BAO), at General Services Office (GSO), isinagawa ang clearing operations upang agad na maalis ang mga debris at iba pang sagabal sa eskinita na nagsisilbing daanan ng mga residente.

Layunin ng operasyon na matiyak na ligtas, maayos, maluwag, at hazard-free ang daanan ng publiko, gayundin upang maiwasan ang anumang aksidente o posibleng panganib sa mga dumaraan. Sa pamamagitan nito, napapanatili ang kalinisan at kaayusan ng lugar at natitiyak ang ligtas na pagdaan ng mga residente.

Mabilis na rumesponde ang City of Taguig sa nakatagilid at bumagsak na pader sa bahagi ng C5 Road, Barangay Western Bicutan nitong Miyerkules, Agosto 19.

Agad itong inalis sa pangunguna ng CDRRMO Search and Rescue Team, katuwang ang BFP Special Rescue Unit (BFP-SRU) at Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga residente at maiwasan ang anumang panganib sa lugar.

The City of Taguig, has been downgraded from a Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning to Rainfall Information. Light to moderate, with occasional heavy rains, are expected and may persist over the next three hours due to the prevailing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Light to moderate rain may cause temporary water buildup in low-lying areas.

Minor road slowdowns or traffic congestion in flood-prone intersections.

Slight rises in water levels near canals, esteros, and drainage systems.

Agad na nagsagawa ng tree cutting and clearing operation ang City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) at City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Search and Rescue Team sa natumbang puno sa Palayan Road, Barangay Western Bicutan, na dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan.

Patuloy na sinisiguro ng lungsod na malinis at ligtas ang mga kalsada at walang mga sagabal na maaaring magdulot ng panganib, upang maging ligtas ang mga motorista at residente.

Hinihikayat ang lahat ng Taguigeño na agad i-report ang anumang insidente o sitwasyong maaaring magdulot ng panganib sa mga sumusunod na numero:

Agad na nagsagawa ng ocular assessment ang City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Search and Rescue team, Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), at Philippine National Police (PNP)-Taguig sa mga lugar na may mataas na peligro ng landslide sa Brgy. Western Bicutan nitong Miyerkules, Agosto 19.

Layunin nitong tiyakin ang ligtas na kalagayan ng mga residente at maipatupad agad ang mga kinakailangang precautionary measures.

Tuloy-tuloy din ang koordinasyon ng barangay at City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) para sa ligtas, mabilis, at maayos na evacuation ng mga pamilyang naapektuhan.

Hinihimok ang lahat na manatiling alerto, mag-ingat, at unahin ang kaligtasan ng buong pamilya laban sa anumang banta ng sakuna.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131 issued by the Office of the President, classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Taguig City are suspended tomorrow, August 20, 2026.

All affected classes shall shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities.

Since government offices are already directed to adopt alternative work arrangements due to the risks posed by the weather, the City believes the same consideration for safety should also be extended to students, teachers, and school personnel by avoiding unnecessary travel and exposure to unsafe conditions.

Metro Manila, including Taguig City, is now under Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning. Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains, continue to affect the city and are expected to persist for the next two to three hours.

Some low-lying areas may start to see minor ponding or shallow flooding, especially if drainage is poor.

Traffic might move slower than usual during downpours.

Wet and slick roads could make driving or walking more hazardous.

Extra caution is necessary in flood-prone areas and along roads that tend to collect water during downpours.

Reduced visibility and slippery road surfaces may affect travel conditions.

Nakikiramay ang Lungsod Taguig sa pamilya ng pasyenteng pumanaw kaugnay ng 911 response sa Maharlika Village. Nakikiisa ang lungsod sa kanilang pagdadalamhati sa mahirap na panahong ito.

Nakakatanggap ang I Love Taguig page ng mga tags at tanong ukol sa 911 response sa Maharlika Village. Dahil dito, minarapat ng Lungsod Taguig na maglabas ng paunang pahayag upang mailahad ang impormasyong nakalap batay sa records ng mga kinauukulang tanggapan.

12:17 p.m. noong Agosto 15 nang makatanggap ang Taguig Command Center ng tawag mula sa Unified 911 para sa ambulance assistance sa Maharlika Village dahil sa iniulat na posibleng heart attack.

Ang Unified 911 ay isang national emergency hotline sa ilalim ng DILG at hiwalay sa direktang emergency hotlines ng Lungsod Taguig.

Ang address na ibinigay ng 911 sa Taguig Command Center ay lot at block number lamang — walang street address o landmark man lang.

Paulit-ulit na sinubukan ng Taguig Command Center na makuha mula sa 911 ang kumpletong address ng pasyente, subalit hindi naibigay ang mga kinakailangang detalye para matukoy ang eksaktong lokasyon ng pasyente.

Sinubukan din ng Taguig Command Center na tawagan ang contact number ng caller na ibinigay ng 911 subalit hindi nasagot ang mga tawag nito.

Nakipag-ugnayan ang Taguig Command Center sa Barangay Maharlika at Barangay Upper Bicutan para sa agarang tulong.

Samantala, sa pagnanais ng agarang tulong, nagtungo ang ilang kamag anak ng pasyente sa Barangay Hall ng Maharlika. Sa kanilang pakiusap ay agad ipinadala ng Barangay ang kanilang Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) at dagling dinala ang pasyente sa Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, kung saan siya dumating ng 12:43 p.m. Agad siyang binigyan ng medical intervention at resuscitative measures, ngunit idineklarang pumanaw nang 1:24 p.m.

Pumunta ang ambulance ang Upper Bicutan sa Maharlika Barangay Hall upang magtanong ukol sa pasyente dahil wala pa rin silang makuhang kumpletong impormasyon. Doon nila nalaman na dinala na ng Patient Transport Vehicle ng Maharlika ang pasyente sa Taguig Pateros District Hospital.

Handa ang mga kinauukulang tanggapan ng Taguig na makipagtulungan at magbigay ng kinakailangang impormasyon sa anumang opisyal na imbestigasyon ukol sa usaping ito.
