🌱 URBAN GARDENING SEMINAR | GROW GREEN. LIVE CLEAN. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The Philippine Coast Guard – Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC) invites all PCG personnel to participate in the Urban Gardening Seminar on 13 August 2026, from 1300H to 1600H at Marilag Hall, HCGHRMC.
This activity aims to promote urban gardening, sustainable living, and environmental responsibility among PCG personnel. It will provide participants with practical knowledge on how to grow vegetables and other plants even in limited spaces, encouraging healthy and sustainable practices that can be applied at home and within the workplace.

As part of the activity, free seedlings will be distributed to participants to help them start or expand their own home and community gardens.

In celebration of Sight Saving Month this August, Premiere Eye Referral Center and Optical is offering a FREE Eye Consultation to all its first-time clients.
Moreover, eligible PhilHealth members may avail of a FREE Fluorescein Angiography, subject to prior appointment.

Fluorescein Angiography is a specialized diagnostic procedure used to examine the blood vessels of the retina. It aids in the early detection and diagnosis of retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, macular degeneration, and other retinal diseases.

Interested personnel are advised that Fluorescein Angiography is strictly by appointment. Those who wish to avail of the procedure are encouraged to secure their appointments in advance.

For all Philippine Coast Guard Enlisted Personnel

The Philippine Coast Guard Chevrons Association, Inc (PCGCAI) and the Philippine Navy and Coast Guard Enlisted Personnel Association Inc (PNCGEPAI) have approved the provision of financial assistance amounting to Three Thousand Pesos (Php 3,000.00) to all bonafide enlisted members (E-1 to E-6) who were directly affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao on 08 June 2026.

The said assistance is intended to provide immediate financial support to affected personnel in addressing their urgent and essential needs. This initiative reflects the Associations’ commitment to the welfare and well-being of PCG Enlisted Personnel and their families, particularly during times of calamity and adversity.

Personnel intending to avail of the said assistance shall submit the following documentary requirements:
A. Certification from Barangay or Present Unit Assignment
B. Pictures of Damage
C. Latest Payslip
D. Photocopy of PCG ID
E. Photocopy of LBP ATM Card

All concerned personnel are directed to coordinate with their respective Command Master Chiefs/Chief Master-at-Arms for the consolidation and validation of requests prior to submission to the Office of the First Master Chief, Philippine Coast Guard. Deadline of submission will be until 30 June 2026.
