PANGALAGA SA KALIGTASAN: MGA TIPS LABAN SA CAR THEFT AT ROBBERY
Sa panahon ngayon, mahalagang maging mapanuri at maagap tayo sa ating paligid upang maiwasan ang pagiging biktima ng car theft at robbery. Narito ang ilang mahahalagang tips na makakatulong upang mapanatiling ligtas ang inyong sarili at ari-arian:
1. Iwasang gamitin ang telepono habang papalapit o umaalis sa sasakyan. Ang pagiging alerto ay mahalaga upang maiwasan ang biglaang pag-atake.
2. Pumili ng ligtas na parking space na may security camera o bantay para mas maprotektahan ang inyong sasakyan.
3. Huwag mag-iwan ng mga mahalagang gamit tulad ng bag at gadgets na nakikita mula sa labas ng sasakyan. Ito'y nagiging tukso para sa mga magnanakaw.
4. Panatilihing naka-lock ang mga bintana at pinto lalo na kapag humihinto sa trapiko.
5. Iulat agad sa mga awtoridad kung may napansin na kahina-hinalang kilos sa paligid.

1. Senaryo 1: Car Theft Prevention
Si "A" ay isang taxi driver na kadalasang pumaparada sa madilim na bahagi ng kalsada habang naghihintay ng pasahero. Isang gabi, habang nasa phone siya at hindi napansin ang paligid, may dalawang lalaki na nagmamasid sa kanyang sasakyan. Dahil dito, mabilis siyang nilapitan at tinutukan. Kung nasunod niya sana ang payo na huwag gumamit ng telepono habang nasa sasakyan at pumili ng parking na may ilaw at bantay, maaaring naiwasan niya ang insidente.
2. Senaryo 2: Snatching Incident
Si "B" ay naglalakad pauwi mula sa trabaho habang nakikinig ng musika sa kanyang cellphone. Dahil nakatuon ang atensyon niya sa kanyang phone, hindi niya napansin ang lalaking sumunod sa kanya. Bigla na lamang siyang hinablotan ng bag at cellphone. Kung naging alerto siya at iniwasang ipakita ang kanyang gadgets sa pampublikong lugar, malamang na naiwasan ang insidente.
3. Senaryo 3: Suspicious Activity Reporting
Si "C" ay napansin ang isang kahina-hinalang lalaki na paikot-ikot sa kanilang kalye, tila nagmamasid sa mga sasakyan. Hindi na siya nagdalawang-isip at agad na tumawag sa barangay upang ireport ito. Dahil sa maagap na aksyon ni Pedro, nahuli ng mga awtoridad ang lalaki na pala'y kilalang car thief sa kanilang lugar.
Maging alisto at maagap! Ang inyong kaligtasan ay nasa inyong mga kamay. Ireport agad sa awtoridad ang anumang kahina-hinalang kilos.

LOOK!
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) garnered the 2nd Runner-Up title among 16 elite contingents at the prestigious National SWAT Challenge 2025, held from January 15 to 17. The competition took place at the SAF Training Branch in Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, and the PNPA Firing Range in Camp General Mariano Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

Under the leadership of PCOL CELSO M RODRIGUEZ, Force Commander of the NCRPO-MFB, the team proudly represented the NCRPO with distinction. With the guidance of PMAJ RODERICK A PACILAN, Chief Coach, and led by PCPT JOHN SMITH M BINWAG, 8th MFC (1st RDC-LRU) Commander, the NCRPO SWAT Team demonstrated their exceptional skills and professionalism in this highly anticipated annual event.

The National SWAT Challenge brought together the nation’s most elite tactical units, testing their physical strength, mental resilience, and tactical expertise through a series of demanding and complex stages.

The NCRPO Team stood out for their unwavering skill and determination, achieving notable recognition in several categories:
• 1st Runner-Up in Stages 2, 3, 4 and Best in Uniform
• 2nd Runner-Up in Stage 1 and Best Team Category

These accomplishments highlighted their commitment to excellence and their ability to maintain composure under intense pressure. Their consistent performance across all stages culminated in their 2nd Runner-Up overall award, cementing their reputation as one of the country’s top-performing contingents.

This challenge transcended mere competition, fostering a profound sense of camaraderie and unity among its participants. It offered an exceptional platform for teams to exchange insights, hone their tactical approaches, and forge deeper bonds, showcasing the collaborative essence that underpins the law enforcement community's mission and values.

The NCRPO SWAT Team’s success is a testament to their hard work, discipline, and dedication to upholding public safety and security, setting a high standard for future competitions.

NCRPO Binuwag ang Drug Den, Nakumpiska ang Php1.5M Halaga ng Shabu at Baril sa Parañaque

Bilang bahagi ng pinaigting na kampanya ng National Capital Region Police Office laban sa ilegal na droga at loose fi****ms bago ang 2025 National and Local Elections, matagumpay na binuwag ang isang drug den sa Barangay Merville, Parañaque City noong Nobyembre 11, 2024.

Sa pinagsanib na operasyon ng District Drug Enforcement Unit ng Southern Police District (DDEU-SPD) at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), apat na suspek ang naaresto, kabilang ang mga high-value target. Nakumpiska rin ang tinatayang 225 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php 1,530,000.00. Bukod dito, narekober din ang isang 9mm caliber na baril, magazine, at mga bala.

Kinilala ang pangunahing suspek na si Reynaldo Lipata Jr. y Cavitiño, alyas "J," kasama ang mga kasabwat na sina Edjane Agana, Reymar Cena, at Mark Anthony Ozores. Sila ay dinala sa DDEU-SPD para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at pagsampa ng kaso para sa paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) at Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

Patuloy na nananawagan ang Team NCRPO sa publiko na makiisa sa kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga at loose fi****ms. Hinihikayat ang mga mamamayan na gamitin ang PNP Law Enforcement Request Information System (PNP LERIS) upang magbigay ng impormasyon para sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at seguridad sa rehiyon.

Activity: SIMEX on Hallway and Room Clearing Conducted by RDC 1
September 12,2024. The Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) on hallway and room clearing operations was successfully conducted by RDC 1. This exercise was designed to improve the tactical skills and coordination of participants in managing confined spaces, ensuring the safety and security of the area.
Participants were challenged with realistic scenarios that demanded swift decision-making, teamwork, and strict adherence to protocols for clearing hallways and rooms. The primary objective was to minimize threats while securing the environment. This exercise proved to be a valuable opportunity for strengthening readiness and enhancing overall operational effectiveness in response to potential security threats.

Maintaining the SKILL and DISCIPLINE of SWAT Operators

Activity: SIMEX on Building Takedown and Stairwell Clearing.
In Urban Warfare, the success of the operations depends on the correctness of ex*****on and fluidity of movements. Being the primary striking force of RMFB that is tasked to provide anti-terrorism and anti-criminality operations, 8th MFC continuously conducts simulation exercises so to ensure readiness of personnel and maintain their mental aptness. With this, on August 10, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at SWAT Range 3, Camp Bagong Diwa, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, all stand-by alert personnel of 8th MFC led by PLT RANIEL FORD C SALIPSIP under the supervision of PCPT EDWIN W LANGBISAN, Company Commander, under the guidance of PCOL CELSO M RODRIGUEZ, Force Commander, conducted a performed the above-mentioned activities as part of the Company’s Learning and Growth Perspective. The simulation exercises aim to establish the importance and to give emphasis on why is there a need for a SWAT Team to seriously observe the procedures and tactics during response depending on the given situation.
Further, being exposed to building takedown scenarios, all participants underwent practices on room entry/close quarter operations and stairwell clearing. Constant simulation to these type of tasks is vital as Close Quarter Battle demands a rapid response but with a precise application of imminent force. The operators need vast proficiency with their weapons and the ability to make split-second decisions in order to avoid unwanted circumstances.
