The Scientific Career System (SCS), in partnership with DOST 1 - Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. 1, conducts the first day of the ๐™Ž๐˜พ๐™Ž ๐™Š๐™ง๐™ž๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™ˆ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: "๐˜ฝ๐™š ๐™– ๐˜พ๐™–๐™ง๐™š๐™š๐™ง ๐™Ž๐™˜๐™ž๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™จ๐™ฉ!" ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™„๐™ก๐™ค๐™˜๐™ค๐™จ (๐™๐™š๐™œ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™„) on 18 August 2026 at the Ynadโ€™s Place Hotel and Resort, San Fernando City, La Union and via Zoom. A total of 28 personnel, composed of 14 female, 14 male actively participated in the onsite activity, while 45 participants attended online.

The orientation aimed to promote and encourage research personnel in Ilocos to pursue a career path in science and to apply to the System, consequently increasing the number of career scientists and strengthening the scientific community in the region.
