At twilight, TNHS stood in complete darkness...

What was once a bright and lively school building had fallen into stillness and shadow. Only a faint beam of light moved across the campus, coming from the security guard’s flashlight, the lone flicker of hope in a place usually filled with lights and voices of thousands.

Yesterday, three main electrical cables were stolen, plunging the entire campus into a total blackout.

Today, nearly 4,000 students from Grades 7 to 10, along with more than 120 faculty and staff, are forced to endure a learning environment far from ideal.

No ELECTRIC FANS in classrooms packed with 30 to 50 students. In a tropical country like the Philippines, the heat becomes a silent torment.

No LIGHTS for the second-shift students who stay until 6 PM.

No TELEVISIONS and PROJECTORS that teachers rely on for instruction.

CHARGING laptops and mobile phones when needed has become a struggle, especially now, when teachers are racing to compute grades. This situation is more than an inconvenience. It is a strain.

LABORATORIES and SPECIALIZED ROOMS that depend on electricity can barely function.
The teaching-learning process is DISRUPTED. The rhythm of the school day is BROKEN.

The ACTIONS of a FEW have caused HARDSHIP for an ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
The loss is not just of wires, but of COMFORT, EFFICIENCY, SAFETY, and the SMOOTH FLOW OF EDUCATION.

TNHS continues to STAND, but in the DARK — WAITING for LIGHT to RETURN. #
