This milestone is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our local government, youth leaders, community partners, and every single youth in Tagoloan. Consistency isn't an accident; it is the result of continuous hard work, passionate service, and an unrelenting drive to empower our sector.

The Municipal Population and Development Office facilitated the Life Planning Session for Adolescent Mothers and Payout on August 17, 2026, at the OSCA Conference Room, Poblacion, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

With the theme , the session aimed to empower adolescent mothers to recognize their strengths, set meaningful goals, and build a better future for themselves and their children.

🌸 #𝗦𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 | 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀

On 8 July 2026 in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, YouRHealth (Youth for Reproductive Health Awareness) engaged 30 adolescent girls and young women from six POPDEV Clubs through “Padayon sa Kaalaman” (Forward, with Knowledge): Breaking the Stigma on Menstruation and Advancing Women’s Health Rights.

Through learning sessions on women’s health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), menstrual health and hygiene, and the safe space dialogue “My Menstruation, My Story,” participants strengthened their knowledge, shared lived experiences, and challenged harmful myths around menstruation. The activity concluded with the “I Break the Stigma” Commitment Wall, where participants pledged to promote menstrual dignity in their communities. 🩸💜

By combining education, meaningful dialogue, and access to sustainable menstrual products, the initiative empowers young people to advocate for their health, rights, and dignity. ✊🌿

Continuing the conversation from the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, and Menstrual Health and Dignity regional campaign, , this activity reflects WGNRR’s commitment to strengthening community-led efforts to transform narratives on menstrual health, dignity, and rights through the Sang Pour Sang Project, with support from Fòs Feminista Org and the AFD - Agence Française de Développement.

Peer Education in Action❣️

The Municipal Population and Development Office partnered with the Local Youth and Development Office and Youth for Reproductive Health Awareness in reaching Adolescents and Youth in conveying AYSRH information and education through Peer Education Seasion with the Padayon Islolars of Tagoloan and the Pag Asa Youth Association in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental during the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 held at the Tagoloan Dome on August 11, 2026.

We thank all the participants for their active participation and to our dear partners for the success of this collaborative event.

Tagoloan Community College proudly announces the designation of Dr. Kharen Jane S. Ungab as the OIC College President of Tagoloan Community College.

With her steadfast commitment to academic excellence, transformative leadership, and institutional development, Dr. Ungab now assumes the helm of the College in advancing quality higher education, strengthening community engagement, and innovation for the benefit of students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders.

Suspendido Agusto 13 ug 14, 2026 ang klase sa tanang Public and Private Elementary, and Secondary School sa tibook Lungsod sa Tagoloan, nunot sa hulga sa taas nga heat index, nga posibleng musakat sa 41°C ngadto 42°C.

Kini aron mapanalipdan ang mga magtutungha, ug ang tanang Teaching and Non-Teaching personnel sa matag tunghaan sa Lungsod tungod sa kainit sa panahon.

The Local Government Unit of Tagoloan extends its sincere appreciation to the Regional Director of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) for the meaningful message of support for the implementation of the Registry of Barangay Inhabitants and Migrants (RBIM) in Tagoloan.

We also commend our Batch 1 Barangays - Gracia, Mohon, Rosario, Santa Ana, and Sugbongcogon for their active participation and successful completion of the RBIM Data Cleansing Training.

As we move forward, we look forward to Batch 2 and the participation of our remaining five barangays in the succeeding phase of this important initiative.

Together, we continue to build accurate and reliable population data for better planning, stronger governance, and more responsive public service.
