The Bureau of Internal Revenue supports Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation - PDIC in leading the nationwide observance of the 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗗𝗣𝗔𝗪) from June 16 to 22, 2026.

Mandated under Presidential Proclamation No. 358 (2003), this annual observance aims to safeguard depositors and promote financial stability in support of the nation's sustained economic development. The theme for this year's DPAW is, "𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙥𝙤𝙣, 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙣."

Ngayong BIR Appreciation Week 2026, kinikilala at pinasasalamatan natin ang bawat kawani at opisyal ng Bureau of Internal Revenue sa buong bansa.

Ang pagkilala ng Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) sa BIR bilang Top 2 Most Improved Agency ay para sa buong Bureau — sa ating frontline personnel, backliners, Revenue Regions, Revenue District Offices, National Office, at sa bawat tanggapan na patuloy na nagsisikap na pabutihin ang sistema at mga proseso, tugunan ang mga concern, at magbigay ng mas maayos na serbisyo sa ating taxpayers.

Malaki pa ang kailangan nating gawin, at ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay na unti-unti nang nararamdaman ng publiko ang ating mga reporma at sama-samang pagsisikap na paghusayin ang serbisyo publiko.

As BIR Appreciation Week 2026 begins with the theme, “Pagbibigay-pugay sa mga Kawani para sa Serbisyong Mahusay at Dedikasyong Walang Humpay,” this video pays tribute to the nationwide efforts of BIR personnel during the successful extended tax season, which concluded on May 15, 2026, following the extension of the filing deadline upon the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Through command centers, taxpayer assistance services, eLounges, information drives, digital campaigns, and stakeholder outreach, the BIR mobilized its people and resources to help make filing and payment more accessible and efficient.

From the National Office to the Revenue Regions and Revenue District Offices, these efforts reflected the Bureau’s readiness, coordination, and commitment to public service throughout the extended 2026 Annual Income Tax Return filing season.
