The Tagbilaran City Government under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap and Vice Mayor Adam Jala, through the City Livelihood and Community Development Unit (CLCDU), in partnership with the Bohol Island State University (BISU), successfully launched the Alagad ug Giya alang sa pag-Asenso sa mga Kapunongan sa Tagbilaran (AGAK - Tagbilaran) on October 30, 2025.
AGAK - Tagbilaran, a collaborative program designed to uplift local enterprises through comprehensive training and development, aims to strengthen entrepreneurial and technical capabilities of community organizations by leveraging the expertise of government institutions and partner agencies thereby helping boost business performance, operations, and sustainability among local enterprises.
Through the AGAK - Tagbilaran program, beneficiaries will undergo a series of training sessions from November 2025 to January 2026, culminating in January 2026. These sessions will be facilitated and conducted by esteemed instructors from the Bohol Island State University - Main Campus, ensuring high-quality learning and impactful capacity-building.
The event gathered key partners who play vital roles in advancing livelihood and community development in Tagbilaran City, including:

Special appreciation is extended to the student members of the Young Entrepreneurs Society and the United Hoteliers Society of the BISU College of Business Management, who served as hosts, ushers/usherettes, and technical operators, contributing greatly to the successful launch of the program.
