September 19, 2026 | The Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), led by Ms. Katrina Maria S. Retutal, Officer-in-Charge, participated in the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup at Bantawan, Old Airport, Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Following the PGBh Family Day 2026 held at the same venue, PHRMDO employees came together to help restore the area by collecting litter and accumulated waste. Although Bantawan, Old Airport is not directly along the coastline, Barangay Taloto is a coastal community, making the activity a valuable contribution to the cleanliness and care of the area.

Through this initiative, PHRMDO employees demonstrated that environmental responsibility can begin wherever there is a need for collective action.

September 18, 2026 | The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), held the PGBh Family Day 2026 in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

The celebration brought PGBh employees together to enjoy meaningful activities, strengthen workplace relationships, and celebrate their shared commitment to public service.

PA Asteria C. Caberte delivered her opening remarks, welcoming everyone and encouraging employees to participate and enjoy the celebration. She also expressed her appreciation for their continued dedication and service to the Province of Bohol.

Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado shared an inspirational message, thanking PGBh employees for their contributions and commitment to the province. He also reaffirmed his commitment to working alongside them toward the continued progress and development of Bohol.

The celebration featured the Hip Hop Dance Competition and Miss PGBh 2026 Q&A and Coronation, with employees competing by cluster.

Congratulations to the winners of the Hip Hop Dance Competition:
🏆 1st Place – Infrastructure Cluster
🥈 2nd Place – Economic Cluster
🥉 3rd Place – Social and Environmental Cluster

Congratulations as well to all the Miss PGBh 2026 candidates for their participation. Ms. Desiree Gerenia of the Development Administration Cluster was crowned Miss PGBh 2026.

Vice Governor Nick Besas delivered the closing message, emphasizing that Family Day was a well-deserved opportunity for PGBh employees to celebrate and enjoy time together. He also acknowledged their continued service to the province. Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol were also present during the celebration.

The PGBh extends its heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, committees, and employees whose time, effort, and support helped make the celebration a memorable and successful event.

September 15, 2026 | In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), in coordination with the Provincial Health Office (PHO), held a Lecture/Seminar on Health Issues and Concerns for its employees.

Mr. Oscar Francisco Valles, Executive Assistant V, delivered the opening address and highlighted the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices. He encouraged everyone to listen, learn, and take to heart the information shared, emphasizing the value of health awareness and preventive care.

The seminar covered four important health topics: Dengue Prevention, Chronic Kidney Disease, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Mental Health Awareness. The discussions provided participants with relevant information on prevention, early awareness, and practical ways to care for their physical and mental well-being.

The activity concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Katrina Maria S. Retutal, Officer-in-Charge, PHRMDO, who thanked everyone for taking part in the seminar and encouraged the participants to continue prioritizing their health and well-being.

A healthy workforce is a stronger workforce. Through initiatives like this, the PGBh continues to promote health awareness and encourage informed choices toward a healthier life.

September 17, 2026 | The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), invited the Tagbilaran Clergy Basketball Team to participate in an Exhibition Basketball Game against the Team B Abante Players of the PGBh.

Held at the PEO Gym, Bohol Provincial Capitol, the game was part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), highlighting sportsmanship, teamwork, and fellowship.

Congratulations to all the players for a spirited and enjoyable game!

September 17, 2026 | The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), held the Miss PGBh 2026 Talent Competition as part of the activities for the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

Representing their respective clusters, each candidate took the stage to showcase her talent, creativity, and confidence, bringing energy and excitement to the competition.

Atty. Handel T. Lagunay, Provincial Legal Officer, opened the event with his welcome address, encouraging everyone to show their support as the candidates presented their talents.

Congratulations to all the candidates for proudly representing their respective clusters, and to the Top 3 clusters: Development Administration Cluster, Legislative Cluster, and Health Cluster.

The competition concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Lloyd Peter B. Estomata, Supervising Administrative Officer, PHRMDO, who thanked the candidates, supporters, and everyone who took part in the activity.

Special appreciation to the committees and all employees who contributed their time and effort in bringing the competition together and making it a memorable part of the PCSA activities.
