The Provincial Government of Bohol proudly recognizes Joseph Kyle Echavez, a graduate of Holy Name University, for his outstanding achievement in securing 2nd place in the October 2026 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ETLE).

The examination was conducted across 15 testing centers nationwide, with 1,804 out of 2,057 examinees passing, equivalent to an overall passing rate of 87.70%.

This remarkable feat highlights Echavez’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, bringing immense pride and honor to the Province of Bohol.

His success serves as an inspiration to fellow Bol-anons and a testament to the province’s wealth of talent and potential.

Around 400 runners participate in the Newborn Screening 5 km Fun Run held in Poblacion, Panglao, highlighting the importance of early testing for newborns to detect serious but treatable conditions before symptoms appear.

Organized by the Department of Health (DOH)–Central Visayas and the Provincial Government of Bohol through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), in partnership with the Municipality of Panglao, the event is bannered under theme “Screen Early, Thrive Healthy.”

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Talibon, Trinidad, BienUnido, Ubay, Pres.CarlosP.Garcia, Getafe), within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

Trinidad Substation: All of Talibon, Getafe, Buenavista, Trinidad, and Bien Unido, plus parts of Ubay.

Mahayag Substation: Entire Pilar, Dagohoy, San Miguel, and Danao, and parts of Sierra Bullones and Ubay.

Tulang Substation: Entire Getafe and Buenavista, and parts of Talibon.

Reason:
To facilitate the ongoing reconfiguration of the existing 69kV switchyard at the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) Ubay Substation under the Visayas Substation Upgrading Project 2, affecting the Ubay–Carmen 69kV line.
