📚⚖️ Strengthening Legislative Competence, One Session at a Time!

The 3rd Session of the Coaching and Mentoring Program for Local Government Operations Officers (LGOOs) on Local Legislation was successfully conducted by DILG Cavite, further enhancing the knowledge and skills of participants in the field of local governance and legislative practice. It was held June 04, 2026 at the SP Session Hall, City of Trece Martires, Cavite.

The session was facilitated by OIC Provincial Director Marcial A. Juangco, who provided valuable insights on the Local Legislative Process and Legislative Decorum. Through an engaging discussion, participants gained a deeper understanding of the procedures, principles, and professional conduct essential in supporting effective and democratic local legislative bodies.

As DILG Cavite continues to invest in the professional development of its LGOOs, this learning initiative reinforces the commitment to fostering competent, responsive, and empowered public servants who can effectively guide and support local government units in legislative matters.

The DILG Tagaytay proudly congratulates all 34 barangays for garnering HIGH FUNCTIONALITY rating in the 2026 Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) Functionality Audit, with CY 2025 as the year under review.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our barangay officials and stakeholders in promoting peace and order, public safety, and good local governance.

Strengthening partnership and collaboration with our barangays!

The DILG Tagaytay City, led by Ms. Maria May M. Ambata, OIC-CLGOO, actively participated in the monthly meeting of the Liga ng mga Barangay held at the Tagaytay City Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.

The meeting served as an avenue for discussing important updates, government programs, policy directions, and matters concerning local governance and barangay administration. It also reinforced the commitment of DILG and the barangay officials in promoting responsive leadership, effective service delivery, and good governance at the grassroots level.

DILG Tagaytay remains steadfast in its mission of empowering barangays and strengthening local governance through continuous coordination, capacity development, and partnership with local officials.

Strengthening inter-agency coordination and collaboration for effective local governance!

To further advance the Department's mandate, mission, and priority programs in the City of Tagaytay, the City Management Coordinating Committee (CMCC) successfully convened its 2nd Quarter Meeting for Calendar Year 2026.

The meeting served as a vital platform for discussing key developments, aligning strategies, and reinforcing collaborative efforts among member agencies in promoting public safety, peace and order, disaster preparedness, and efficient delivery of government services to the people of Tagaytay.

The activity was actively participated in by Ms. Maria May M. Ambata, OIC-CLGOO; FCINSP Armand Lee M. Andres, City Fire Marshal; JCINSP Arnel B. Anchales, Jail Warden, Male Dormitory; JSI Arnella Tolledo, Jail Warden, Female Dormitory; and PCPT Aiza Joy P. Tumbo, Tagaytay CCPS, whose valuable insights and commitment contributed to productive discussions and meaningful coordination among the city's frontline agencies.

Through sustained partnership and unified action, the CMCC remains committed to fostering a safer, more resilient, and progressive Tagaytay City for all.
