🀝 BRIDGING THE GAP: Strengthening Justice-Sector Collaboration
The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) with the Tagaytay City Justice Zone held an Exploratory Meeting to discuss the proposed initiative, β€œBRIDGING THE GAP: Justice-Sector Transition and Professional Readiness Program for Graduating PNPA Cadets.”

The meeting served as a platform for communication, coordination, and cooperation among key justice-sector institutions, advancing the vision and purpose of the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC).

Through this initiative, the PNPA seeks to better prepare graduating cadets for the realities of professional service by fostering a deeper understanding of the justice system and strengthening collaboration among its key stakeholders.

MGA HUKOM, PISKAL AT PULIS SA CAVITE, SUMAILALIM SA PAGSASANAY KONTRA ONLINE CHILD EXPLOITATION

Sumailalim sa dalawang araw na pagsasanay ang mga hukom, piskal, at mga pulis mula sa Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) sa Cavite upang mapalakas ang imbestigasyon at paghawak ng mga kasong may kaugnayan sa online child exploitation.

Isinagawa sa Tagaytay City ang programa na nakatuon sa tamang paggamit ng digital evidence at pagpapatupad ng Republic Act No. 11930.

Lumahok dito ang mga kinatawan mula sa iba't ibang lokal na pamahalaan at mga ahensyang katuwang sa kampanya laban sa online na pang-aabuso sa mga bata.

Ayon sa mga organizer, layunin ng pagsasanay na higit pang palakasin ang koordinasyon at kakayahan ng mga awtoridad sa pagprotekta sa mga bata at pagpapatupad ng batas.

The Tagaytay City Justice Zone (TCJZ), through its Committee on Youth and Children, successfully concluded the 2-day Capacity Building for the Management of Child Abuse and Exploitation Cases Through the Effective Utilization of Technology and Digital Evidence held on June 29–30, 2026 at Kimberly Hotel, Tagaytay City. πŸ¨πŸ“š
The training equipped participants with enhanced legal knowledge and practical skills in handling OSAEC and CSAEM cases under Republic Act No. 11930, strengthening the justice sector's response to child abuse and exploitation in the digital age. βš–οΈπŸ‘₯

Participants included judges and prosecutors from Tagaytay City, provincial prosecutors from Imus, Cavite, representatives from the NBI–Tagaytay District Office, the Regional Committee Against Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force (RCAETTF), and personnel from the Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPDs) of Tagaytay, Silang, Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo (GEA), and Amadeo. The activity was graced by distinguished resource persons from National Coordination Center Against OSAEC and CSAEM (NCC-OSAEC-CSAEM), Department of Justice- Office of the Cybercrime (DOJ-OOC), Child Rescue Coalition, and Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 4A (RACU-4A).

Over the past two days, a series of Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) were conducted to delve into the critical issues of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). This initiative, spearheaded by Atty. Allen Espiritu and Henri Shalimar Palma from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the EU-GOJUST UNOPS, sought to enhance the responsiveness of justice mechanisms to the varied needs of women and individuals in vulnerable situations, tailored to their specific local contexts.

The first day of the discussions saw the participation of dedicated officials from Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City. These studious officials were keen on exploring how their roles could contribute to enhancing GESI within their community. The discussions centered on identifying existing gaps in justice services and brainstorming potential solutions to make these services more accessible and equitable.

The second day brought together crucial stakeholders from the Tagaytay City Justice Zone (TCJZ), including representatives from the City Legal Office, Tourism Council, Department of Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH-TRC)Tagaytay, BJMP TAGAYTAY CJMD, IBP Cavite Chapter, and the Philippine National Police (PNP). This diverse group of participants provided a comprehensive overview of the current justice system's strengths and areas for improvement.
