DManCoM strengthens policy alignment for better teaching and learning

The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Tacurong City convened its school and division leaders for the 4th Division Management Committee Meeting (DManCoM) on September 3 to strengthen policy alignment on matters directly affecting teaching, assessment, and learner achievement.

The meeting brought together the regular members of the committee presided over by OIC-SDS Carlos G. Susarno, PhD, CESO VI to discuss key programs, policies, and implementation concerns.

Central to the discussions were DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026, which provides guidelines on the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education, and DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026, which covers classroom assessment, grading, awards, and recognition for learners in the K to 12 Basic Education Program.

The discussions provided school leaders with a common understanding of the policies, enabling them to guide teachers in translating these directives into consistent practices in instructional planning, classroom assessment, grading, and learner recognition.

For teachers, the alignment is expected to provide clearer direction in adjusting classroom practices to the three-term school calendar and applying assessment and grading guidelines consistently across schools.

For learners, consistent implementation of these policies can contribute to fairer assessment of learning progress and achievement and more appropriate recognition of their performance.

Through the DManCoM, SDO Tacurong City strengthens coordination among its leaders to ensure that division policies are clearly understood and effectively translated into school-level actions that ultimately support better teaching and meaningful learning outcomes.

📣 SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF THE DIVISION LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP CUM ORIENTATION ON LEARNER RIGHTS AND PROTECTION

August 29, 2026 | SDO Tacurong City

The Schools Division Office of Tacurong City, through the Youth Formation Division (YFD), in collaboration with the Legal Office, successfully conducted the Division Leadership Training and Skills Development Workshop cm Orientation on Learner Rights and Protection on August 29, 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen the leadership capabilities, skills, and awareness of student leaders, particularly in promoting learner rights, responsibilities, protection, and welfare within the school community.

🤝 This meaningful undertaking was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Youth Formation Division and the Legal Office of the Schools Division of Tacurong City, providing student leaders with valuable insights on legal matters, learner rights, responsibilities, and the importance of responsible and ethical leadership.

The activity also served as a platform for student leaders to enhance their leadership competencies, develop confidence in carrying out their roles, and become more effective partners of the school in creating a safe, inclusive, learner-centered, and rights-respecting school environment.

Ikinagagalak ng DepEd ang paglalabas ng pondo para sa salary adjustments ng 93,344 reclassified teaching at school head positions sa ilalim ng Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System.

Nagpapasalamat tayo sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos at sa DBM sa patuloy na pagbibigay-priyoridad at suporta sa kapakanan ng ating mga g**o.
