The prestigious athletics competition brought together young and promising athletes who competed in various track and field events. The meet was sanctioned by the Davao City Track and Field Association (DCTAFA) and the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) and recognized by World Athletics.

Representing Tacurong City, two young athletes delivered outstanding performances and brought home medals for the city.

DAVAO CITY โ€” Young archers from Tacurong City showcased their talent, determination, and competitive spirit at the Philippine Sports Commission โ€“ World Archery Philippines Leg 3 National Championship and Qualifier held in Davao City.

Representing Tacurong City, three promising young archers from the Kudong Archery Team delivered impressive performances, bringing home medals and strong finishes in their respective categories.

Blake Felicity Bautista displayed remarkable composure and consistency, earning a Bronze Medal in the Qualification Round and another Bronze Medal in the Olympic Round.

Hector Audrian Jeuz Laranjo finished 5th in the Qualification Round and also secured a Bronze Medal in the Mixed Team Event, adding another medal to Tacurong Cityโ€™s impressive campaign.

A remarkable journey continues for six young judokas from Family Jae'ger Mix (FJM) Judo Club of South Central Mindanao Judo Association โ€“ Region 12, who are now proudly representing the University of the Philippines Diliman Fighting Maroons Judo Team.
Their dedication, discipline, and countless hours of training have brought them to a new chapter in their athletic careers. As rookies representing UP, they made an impressive mark at the Philippine Judo Federation (PJF) NCRJA Calambato Judo Championship.

Representing Tacurong City is Brent Randolph Tolentino Pauya, accompanied by his Playing Coach, Royce Diones Lopez. During the courtesy visit, Mayor Montilla expressed her support and encouragement as Brent prepares to compete against the country's finest Arnis athletes.
