๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ผ, ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ โ From being subsistence farmers to a successful community-based enterprise, the Inolinan Womenโs Association (IWA) in San Ricardo, Southern Leyte began earning from the egg production project granted in July by the Department of Agriculture - Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program.
The womenโs association was among SAADโs recipients of livelihood interventions for FY 2026, receiving 480 heads of ready-to-lay (RTL) chickens and 44 bags of layer feeds, delivered in July, following their participation in the programโs capacity-building training.
Within just a month of livelihood operation, IWA already earned gross sales of P11,265.00, with a significant increase in production rate. From 6.19% since the beginning of production, to 29.88% as of August 2026, and the numbers are still increasing.
