The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the leadership of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, actively joins the campaign in support of Executive Order No. 70.

Through continuous information dissemination and awareness initiatives, the facility remains committed to promoting peace, unity, community involvement, and a culture of responsibility among its Personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

This initiative reflects the BJMP’s commitment to supporting government efforts toward addressing the root causes of insurgency, strengthening community resilience, and fostering an environment conducive to peace, development, and rehabilitation.

Together, let us strengthen our communities through awareness, cooperation, and responsible citizenship.

The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the leadership of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, warmly welcomed the RHRDD Chief and RESJO during their visit to the facility on September 14, 2026.

As part of the activity, 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐨 conducted a Rank Inspection among the unit personnel to assess their proper bearing, appearance, readiness, and compliance with prescribed standards. The inspection also served as an avenue to reinforce discipline, professionalism, and attention to duty among the personnel.

This was followed by the conduct of the Personnel Information and Education (PIE), which provided an opportunity to update and remind personnel on important policies, directives, responsibilities, and matters relevant to the effective performance of their duties.

The TCJFD expresses its appreciation to the RHRDD Chief and RESJO for their valuable visit, guidance, and commitment to strengthening the capabilities and professionalism of jail personnel.

The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the leadership of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, in coordination with the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, successfully conducted a surprise drug testing among jail personnel and PDL with drug-related cases on September 14, 2026.

The activity was undertaken as part of the jail’s continuing efforts to promote a safe, healthy, secure, and drug-free correctional environment. It likewise reinforces the importance of accountability, discipline, and adherence to established policies and procedures on drug prevention and control.

Through this initiative, the Tacloban City Jail – Female Dormitory continues to strengthen its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism among personnel while supporting the rehabilitation and transformation of PDLs.

Together, we uphold discipline. Together, we strengthen accountability. Together, we work toward a drug-free jail environment.
