In line with the Bureau of Customs’ commitment to ensuring compliance with customs laws, the Port of Tacloban conducted an inspection of the Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) operated by TBK Manufacturing Corporation located at Lower Nula-Tula, Barangay 74, Tacloban City on June 9, 2026.

The inspection was carried out by personnel of the Port of Tacloban as part of the Bureau’s continuing efforts to monitor and ensure adherence to customs rules and regulations governing the operation of Customs Bonded Warehouses.

No significant findings were noted during the inspection, indicating the warehouse's compliance with existing customs laws, rules, and regulations.

District Collector Atty. Francis T. Tolibas emphasized the importance of regular inspections in maintaining the integrity of customs processes and safeguarding government revenue. He reiterated that the Port remains steadfast in implementing measures that promote transparency, accountability, and compliance among stakeholders.

Aligned with the Bureau of Customs’ Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) Program, the activity supports the Bureau’s efforts under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno to promote integrity, transparency, and compliance while facilitating legitimate trade.

The Bureau of Customs (BOC), under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, continues to advance its modernization agenda through the implementation of the Customs Processing System (CPS) and the National Single Window (NSW). These transformative initiatives are laying the foundation for a fully automated, integrated, and paperless customs environment that enhances trade facilitation, promotes transparency, and strengthens border security.

| The Bureau of Customs (BOC) informs all officials, employees, and individuals under Contract of Service that the normal workforce on Fridays onsite work shall resume, following the revocation of the Flexible Work Arrangement under OCOM Memo Nos. 24-2026 and 25-2026.

All concerned personnel shall return to the standard five-day onsite workweek. Offices and units operating on a 24-hour basis or under shifting schedules shall continue to observe their existing operational arrangements in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.⁩
