In line with the Bureau of Customsβ commitment to ensuring compliance with customs laws, the Port of Tacloban conducted an inspection of the Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) operated by TBK Manufacturing Corporation located at Lower Nula-Tula, Barangay 74, Tacloban City on June 9, 2026.
The inspection was carried out by personnel of the Port of Tacloban as part of the Bureauβs continuing efforts to monitor and ensure adherence to customs rules and regulations governing the operation of Customs Bonded Warehouses.
No significant findings were noted during the inspection, indicating the warehouse's compliance with existing customs laws, rules, and regulations.
District Collector Atty. Francis T. Tolibas emphasized the importance of regular inspections in maintaining the integrity of customs processes and safeguarding government revenue. He reiterated that the Port remains steadfast in implementing measures that promote transparency, accountability, and compliance among stakeholders.
Aligned with the Bureau of Customsβ Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) Program, the activity supports the Bureauβs efforts under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno to promote integrity, transparency, and compliance while facilitating legitimate trade.
