📢 SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) MEETING UPDATES

Yesterday, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons from all barangays across Tacloban City gathered at the Tacloban City Astrodome for a vital coordination meeting focused on the latest Sangguniang Kabataan Updates and Administrative Directives.

​The productive session was led by Hon. Emmanuel Dirko De Paz, SK Federation President, together with Mr. Jean Redi T. Briones, CESE, City Director of DILG Tacloban, alongside the dedicated members of the SK Federation council.
​
Organized through the joint efforts of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the City Youth Development Office (CYDO), this assembly served as a strategic platform to ensure that all local youth councils are uniformly aligned, informed, and equipped to implement governance mandates within their respective communities

LOOK | CITY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (CYDC) 2ND QUARTERLY MEETING CY 2026.

Last tuesday, the City Youth Development Council (CYDC) convened at the SK Federation Office, CEO Compound, Tacloban City, to tackle crucial plans and policies for Taclobanon youth.

The productive session was led by Hon. Emmanuel Dirko De Paz, SK Federation President, together with Mr. Jean Redi T. Briones, CESE, City Director of DILG Tacloban, alongside the dedicated members of the council.

Key agenda items discussed during the meeting included:

​📊 Monitoring & Evaluation: Reviewing the CYDP 2023-2028 results for CY 2025.

​📜 Policy & Ordinances: Updates on the draft ordinance creating the official CYDC in Tacloban City, alongside proposed resolutions from the Youth Congress 2025.

​🎉Upcoming Youth Events: Initial planning for Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 and the Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan Awards and Recognitions (oSKars)!
