STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES THROUGH PARTNERSHIP🇺🇸🇵🇭🇯🇵

Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the PP26 engineering project at Santa Elena Elementary School.

U.S. Navy Seabees, assigned to Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1, alongside engineers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Japan Self-Defense Force, repaired rainwater collection components, restored handwashing stations, and installed a new deep well pump and a water line to restore functionality to a community water system.

A SHARED PROJECT, A SHARED CELEBRATION 🤝✂️

Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26) marked the completion of the Lorenzo Daa Memorial School PP26 engineering project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

U.S. Navy Seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, alongside engineers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Japan Self-Defense Force, repaired an on-site water pump, installed concrete drainage to mitigate recurring rainwater flooding, renovated classroom roofs and ceilings, and constructed a new concrete courtyard that provides students with an improved space to play and gather. 🇺🇸🇵🇭🇯🇵

RESERVISTS BRINGING THEIR A-GAME 🪖🌏

Different day jobs. Same mission.

U.S. Armed Forces reservists brought their civilian expertise, military experience, and unique perspectives to Pacific Partnership 2026, supporting mission pre-planning and mission stops across the Indo-Pacific.

From exchanging knowledge at community health engagements to providing valuable insight during disaster management events to leading the mission, reservists stepped up alongside active duty and partner nation forces to strengthen collaboration and deliver meaningful outcomes across the mission.

From providing oral health exams at a community health engagement at San Jose Barangay Hall, to rappelling during an urban search and rescue subject matter expert exchange, hosting a disaster management workshop with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and interagency organizations, speaking at a Philippine community livelihood enhancement program, and participating in the painting of Pintahang Pagkasia mural, Pacific Partnership 2026 is showing up and showing out in the Philippines!

🏀 SLAM DUNK FOR PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP 2026 🇺🇸🤝🇵🇭

Personnel assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 competed in a basketball tournament with local teams from Tacloban City, Philippines, during a host nation outreach event.

The tournament included students from Leyte Gulf University - Tacloban City, members of the Philippine Coast Guard and representatives from the local government, all playing in a friendly competition fostering teamwork and friendship, and connected participants through the universal language of sports.

⚕️HEALTH IS WEALTH⚕️

Personnel assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 held a community health engagement at San Jose Barangay Hall today in Tacloban City, Philippines.

The engagement focused on demonstrating best oral hygiene practices, dietary and nutrition guidance, and ocular health knowledge exchanges between military and civilian medical professionals from Canada, Germany, Japan, Philippines, and the U.S. to increase local community resilience and health.

HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES… TO FINISH STRONG! 🌅💪

This afternoon, Pacific Partnership 2026 officially kicked off the fifth and final mission stop with an opening ceremony in Tacloban City, Philippines.

Today’s ceremony featured cultural performances by Dayon Normalista dancers from Leyte Normal University and a concert from the Pacific Partnership Band. This stop continues the long legacy of cooperation between the two countries, marking the 14th time the Philippines has hosted Pacific Partnership ! 🇺🇸🤝🇵🇭

U.S. Navy and Armed Forces of the Philippines engineers are working together during Pacific Partnership 2026 to enhance Lorenzo Daa Memorial School and Santa Elena Elementary School in Tacloban City, Philippines, with renovations to classroom roofs and ceilings, the installation of rainwater drainage components and an on-site water pump, and a new courtyard.
