“TACLOBAN PS3 NABS HIGH VALUED INDIVIDUAL IN SUCCESSFUL BUY-BUST OPERATION”

NEW KAWAYAN, TACLOBAN CITY—Drug enforcement operatives of Tacloban City Police Office, Police Station 3 led by PLT ARCHIBALD C BALAIS under the supervision of PCPT KEMY G BAS, OIC, PS3, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 8, NABS HIGH VALUED INDIVIDUAL IN SUCCESSFUL BUY-BUST OPERATION conducted in the morning of June 16, 2026 at Tacloban City.

Authorities identified the suspects as alias “ROM” a high valued individual (HVI) 24 years old and resident of Tacloban City.

Seized from the suspects possession and control are the ff; Three (3) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, a suspected “SHABU” (possession); One (1) plastic pipe, one (1) unit silver weighing scale, one (1) gray sling bag and the buy-bust money.

In strict adherence to standard procedures, all confiscated items were immediately marked and inventoried at the scene in the presence of required witnesses. The suspect and evidence were then brought to TCPO Police Station 3 for documentation and further processing. The suspected illegal drugs will undergo laboratory examination at the Regional Forensic Unit 8.

Authorities identified the suspects as alias “MIMI” a street level individual (SLI) female, 18 years old and resident of Tacloban City.

Seized from the suspects possession and control are the ff; (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu (subject of sale); Three (3) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, a suspected “SHABU” (possession); One (1) piece small brown envelope and the buy-bust money.

In strict adherence to standard procedures, all confiscated items were immediately marked and inventoried at the scene in the presence of required witnesses. The suspect and evidence were then brought to TCPO Police Station 3 for documentation and further processing. The suspected illegal drugs will undergo laboratory examination at the Regional Forensic Unit 8.
