🎉 LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2025 – FLOAT / DECORATED MULTICAB COMPETITION 🎉
Theme: “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond”
Calling all Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, Youth Organizations (YO), and Youth-Serving Organizations (YSO) in Tacloban City! 🚐✨
Be part of the much-anticipated highlight of this year’s Linggo ng Kabataan — the Float/Decorated Multicab Competition! Transform your multicab into a moving symbol of youth action for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and beyond. Showcase your creativity, unity, and commitment to change!
📌 KEY DETAILS
🧑🤝🧑 WHO CAN JOIN?
Open to all SK Councils (individual barangays or by area), recognized Youth Organizations (YO), and Youth-Serving Organizations (YSO) at the barangay level in Tacloban City.
Only one (1) entry per area is allowed.
🤝 PARTICIPATION ARRANGEMENTS:
If the SK is not participating, a YO or YSO may represent the area.
If the YO/YSO is not interested, the SK may participate independently.
If both are interested, they may choose to collaborate or decide among themselves who will officially represent the area.
All participants are encouraged to coordinate with each other for support and unity in showcasing their area’s youth-led efforts.
📝 REGISTRATION DETAILS
Deadline: August 5, 2025
Registration Venue: City Youth Development Office (CYDO), Brgy. 25, Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City
Requirements:
Accomplished registration form (available at CYDO)
Concept write-up (max. 200 words) explaining how your design reflects the theme: “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond”
🚐 VEHICLE & DESIGN GUIDELINES
Only PUV multicabs are allowed.
Decorations must be:
▪ Securely attached and safe for travel
▪ Within 8–10 feet in total height (including vehicle)
▪ Made from eco-friendly, recyclable, or indigenous materials
Strictly prohibited: pyrotechnics, hazardous substances, and unsafe decorations
📅 PARADE & PROGRAM DETAILS
🕗 Assembly Time & Meetup:
8:00 AM on August 12, 2025
📍 Tacloban City Convention Center (TCCC)
🚗 Motorcade Kick-off:
9:00 AM — from TCCC (Sagkahan) → Real Street → Justice Romualdez Street → Rizal Avenue → Burgos Street → Anibong Road → ends at Brgy. 106 Sto. Niño, Tacloban City
🎤 Culminating Program:
Participants will join a short program at the final point, in line with the launching of the Community-Based Teen Center at Brgy. 106 Sto. Niño.

- Relevance to Theme = 30%
- Creativity & Originality = 25%
- Aesthetic Appeal = 20%
- Use of Recyclable & Indigenous Materials = 15%
- Overall Impact / Audience Appeal = 10%

1st Place – ₱30,000.00
2nd Place – ₱20,000.00
3rd Place – ₱10,000.00
Consolation Prizes – ₱5,000.00 each (for 7 groups)
