READ: Message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for the 2023 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

The President hopes that this year's campaign, through the Philippine Commission on Women, will enlighten the public on legislations and amendments protecting women from all kinds of violence. He urges government agencies and instrumentalities to fully enforce all programs and policies pertaining to the security and empowerment of women in our society. The President has utmost faith that all of us can help Filipino women define their dignity, pursue their development, and lead a life of true freedom and dignity.

Samahan ang Philippine Commission on Women sa online kickoff ng 2023 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women bukas, November 25, 2023. Abangan ang live premiere ng "Alam Mo VAW?" street interviews na magpapakita ng kasalukuyang kaalaman ng ating mga kababayan ukol sa VAW.

The PCAT-VAWC MEMBERS stood with the family members of the victim-survivors to vow their support along with the survivor’s timeline of recovery and healing during the Family Fun Day event organized by the PCAT-VAWC through the Tabuk Refuge of Hope Int. (TROHI).

The committee acknowledged that Recovering from their negative experiences takes time, but with love, care and support, they can regain sense of control, rebuild self-worth, and learn to heal.

Part of the event is the raise your voice experience sharing campaign to break the misconception of silence towards Gender Based Violence.

𝟭𝟴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗔𝗪 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

A "Family Fun Day" and a session on self and Social enhancement organized for Victim-Survivors and their support systems.

The activity aims to create atmosphere of involvement that can help them overcome feelings of low self-esteem, isolation, powerlessness, fear and anger. It also provides a venue of reconnecting with significant others, that provides recovery benefits.
