When partnerships are built with a shared purpose, doors of opportunity open for our students.
We were honored to welcome representatives from the Aboitiz Foundation, Sir John Rey Roque and Ma'am Meldz Centaine S. Duran, for a meaningful discussion on creating more opportunities for our IT students and graduates. Through this initiative, 50 slots will be opened for free Virtual Assistant (VA) training, with the possibility of employment upon successful completion of the program.
Beyond these employment opportunities, we are deeply grateful to the Aboitiz Foundation for its commitment to further support our campus by helping us acquire much-needed books across various disciplines to strengthen our library holdings. These initiatives reflect the Foundation's genuine commitment to empowering students through education, skills development, and access to quality learning resources.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Alfredo M. Coro II Coors Coro for continuously championing programs that create opportunities for our students and for connecting our campus with partners who share our vision. Our sincere appreciation likewise goes to Sir Daniel Lido Dumpa Jr., MSWDO, for his invaluable support in coordinating this collaboration and for always opening doors for the SNSU Del Carmen community.
The SNSU administration, led by our University President, Dr. Rowena A. Plando and the Vice Presidents, along with the SNSU Del Carmen Campus administration, headed by Dr. Joey Gravino Escauso, faculty, staff, and students, expresses its profound gratitude to the Aboitiz Foundation for investing in our students' future.
We thank God for His sustaining grace and for using people and institutions as instruments of His countless blessings. Together, we continue to build a future of Siargao filled with hope, opportunity, and endless possibilities for our students.
