Back-to-Back, Beyond Blessed. ๐ฅน๐โจ
There are moments in public service that remind us why we chose to serve in the first place and this is one of them.
For the second consecutive year, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kisolon has been recognized as the 1st Place Most Outstanding SK Council in the Municipality of Sumilao. We receive this recognition with immense gratitude and humility, knowing that this award is not simply a celebration of what we have accomplished, but a reflection of the countless people who believed in our vision and chose to walk this journey with us.
This recognition is proof that meaningful change is never achieved by one person alone. It is built through teamwork, trust, shared purpose, and a community that believes in empowering its youth.
To our Barangay Council and Staff, headed by our ever-supportive Barangay Captain, Hon. Veronica โDadaโ Villo-Lumantas, thank you for giving us the confidence to lead and the opportunity to grow. Your guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support have allowed us to transform ideas into meaningful programs that truly benefited our community.
To our Local Government Unit of Sumilao, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Venice Villo, thank you for continuously recognizing the potential of young leaders. Your commitment to youth development has inspired us to dream bigger, work harder, and serve with greater purpose.
To our partner institutions, Pilar High School, Kisolon Central Elementary School, San Vicente National High School, and Impasugong National High School, thank you for opening your doors and allowing us to collaborate in creating programs that empowered, educated, and inspired our youth. Your partnership has been invaluable in making our initiatives more meaningful and impactful.
To our incredible Youth Volunteers, words will never be enough to express how grateful we are. You answered every call for help, shared your time without hesitation, and worked behind the scenes expecting nothing in return. You proved that making a difference does not require a title it only requires a willing heart. Every successful activity we conducted carries your fingerprints, and this recognition belongs to you just as much as it belongs to us.
To our fellow SK Council Members and Staff, thank you for the trust, commitment, and friendship we built throughout this journey. Every meeting, every brainstorming session, every late night preparation, every challenge, and every victory became lighter because we faced them together. This award is a reflection of your dedication, compassion, and genuine desire to serve our fellow youth.
Most importantly, to every young person of Barangay Kisolon, thank you for allowing us to become part of your journey. Thank you for participating in our programs, believing in our initiatives, sharing your ideas, and reminding us every day why youth leadership matters. You have always been the inspiration behind every project we pursued and every goal we set.
As our term gradually comes to a close, this recognition reminds us that leadership is never measured by trophies or awards alone. It is measured by the lives we have touched, the opportunities we created, the voices we empowered, and the hope we inspired within our community.
This award may bear the name of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kisolon, but its story belongs to an entire community that believed in its young people.
From all of us, thank you for trusting us, growing with us, and making this journey one we will always treasure.
