The Office of the Municipal Mayor – Local Youth Development Section (LYDO), under the leadership of Noel, Jr. L. Fullo, LYDO III, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Karen S. Tayocnog, RSW, and in partnership with Sir Michael Calumbay, TBTP Community Coordinator of Lebak, successfully convened the First Community Assembly of the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) for Barangays Salaman, Poblacion I, and Tibpuan. The assembly was held at Gestosani Memorial Integrated School, underscoring a shared commitment to strengthening grassroots literacy initiatives.

This milestone activity was realized through the collective support of key stakeholders, including Barangay Salaman through SK Chairperson Hon. Jocelyn B. Cadiz and Council; Salaman Central School under the leadership of Mam Roselita Berico; Ampad Guiabar Memorial Elementary School led by Mam Gertrudes Mermal; and Sir Jamin Palileo, Head of Gestosani Memorial Integrated School.

The LYDO conveys its sincere appreciation to Mayor Frederick Celestial and the 22nd Sangguniang Bayan, under the leadership of Vice Mayor Melchor Alarcon, for their continued guidance and unwavering support in advancing the objectives of the program.

The Office of the Municipal Mayor – Local Youth Development Section (LYDO), under the leadership of Noel, Jr. L. Fullo, LYDO III, in collaboration with Sir Michael Calumbay, TBTP Community Coordinator of Lebak, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Karen S. Tayocnog, RSW—represented by Datu Mocthar Matabalao—successfully held the First Community Assembly of the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) at Barangay Purikay. The event took place at Celeste Central Elementary School and marked a meaningful step toward strengthening community-based learning initiatives.

The LYDO proudly recognizes the collective effort that led to the success of this activity. This includes the invaluable support of the Barangay Local Government Unit of Purikay, thru the SK Chairperson headed by Hon. Charmaine Marquez, and the warm assistance of Sir Tohami Usman, Head of Celeste Central Elementary School.

With sincere appreciation, the LYDO also extends its gratitude to Mayor Frederick Celestial and the 22nd Sangguniang Bayan, led by Vice Mayor Melchor Alarcon, for their steadfast support in bringing the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program to life.

The Office of the Municipal Mayor – Local Youth Development Section, headed by Noel, Jr. L. Fullo, LYDO III, together with Sir Michael Calumbay, TBTP Community Coordinator of Lebak, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), headed by Karen S. Tayocnog, RSW, duly represented by Datu Mocthar Matabalao, conducted the First Community Assembly of the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) at Pigel Integrated School. The assembly was held at the Barangay Bolebak Gymnasium.

The LYDO expresses its satisfaction with the success of the assembly, made possible through the support of the Barangay Local Government Unit of Bolebak, headed by Hon. Ruel O. Ogatis and Council, with the active involvement of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairperson, Hon. Junrie Abello and Council, as well as Sir Jayson Imperial, PhD, Head of Pigel Integrated School.

The Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) Municipal Coordinator, Mr. Michael Calumbay, paid a courtesy visit to Frederick F. Celestial on March 4, 2026. During the said visit, Mayor Celestial expressed his support for implementing the TBTP in Lebak.

Tara, Basa! The Tutoring Program is a developmental, community-based social protection program that aids low-income families and college students and empowers them to participate in nation-building as Tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDWs) through Cash-for-Work.

LGBTQIA+ AGILA LEBAK proudly joined the celebration of Women’s Month last March 8, 2026 at the Municipal Hall of Lebak through the “Serbisyo para kay Juana” program.
As part of our support, we conducted an Alay Gupit for our beloved Juanas, sharing our time and service to make them feel appreciated and empowered on this special day dedicated to women. ✂️💜
This meaningful activity was made possible through the support of the GAD Focal Person of the Municipality of Lebak, Sir Jaybee Bernales.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration successful. Together, we continue to promote equality, empowerment, and community service for all.
